I can't remember if this is my head canon or not, but I thought this movie provided a good explanation as to why Thanos didn't do anything himself till the end of this movie. If Odin was strong enough to keep Hela away, wouldn't he have been hypothetically a big enough threat that Thanos wouldn't want to risk revealing himself? Maybe not a coincidence that Hela and Odin died then suddenly Thanos goes to work

I'm genuinely surprised that you guys weren't that keen on Cate Blanchett as Hela. I thought she was amazing and I loved how she portrayed her, especially considering how I wasn't very big on comics Hela. Also, just to add on something interesting - **SPOILER WARNING** - Korg (who's made of rocks) is in "prison" because he ran out of pamphlets (paper). Paper beats rock. Then later, he accidentally steps on Miek (scissors). Rock beats scissors! Hah! On a separate note, I'm so glad I discovered this. Thoroughly enjoyed it and subscribed! Keep up the great work, all!

Spoilers for AoS season 1: A random Asgardian builder turned mythology professor effortlessly grabs a knife by the blade from Ward's hands and bends it (Ward is no joke, but he is only human, the power gap there is substantial). Asgardians are way stronger and more durable than humans so that headbutt doesn't seem too far out especially for a trained veteran solider like scourge. *formatting/spelling

I feel like this movie and infinity war really hit it home how powerful Asgard is in the grand scale of things, like the bifrost is so powerful it can destory planets and travel across the universe. The weapons they weild are from the strongest place in the universe. I thought it was just powerful compared to earth but they superpowered everywhere

I don't think they should bring back Hela and I don't think they will or at least this MCU variant of her. If you watch closely, she clearly get disintegrated by Surtur's sword but then again, she could just have teleported or something. But they shouldn't bring her back anyway. The next female "Thanos level" villain is or should be clearly Scarlet Witch. Also, I'm not entirely sure Cate Blanchett would even want to return. Some of these roles just seem like something an actor just wants to do for their resume and then just forget about it. For example, Christian Bale is set to become Gorr the Butcher for Thor:Love & Thunder but I highly doubt he wants to stick around be Gorr for multiple movies.

Asgard is a people, that's why Hela won't let the Asgardians leave. She's dead-set on keeping them in their planet, only Thor realizes that comes to their rescue. The Revengers and the rest of the Grandmaster's gladiators end up helping the Asgardians escape the planet and journey towards Earth.

They haven't done the Thor is unworthy story yet. He was always worthy even when he got fat. That's how he was able to summon Mjolnir from the past in Endgame. I just hope Jane Foster Thor is only a one movie thing. I don't particularly like Natalie Portman in the MCU, her acting in it always seems phoned in.

Nukes saved more lives than it cost. Invading mainland Japan would've killed more Japanese than the nukes killed. Yeah the weapons are terrible, but they were used in place of something worse.
