I feel like it portrayed a fairly nuanced depiction of the different ways that the modern man can be sexist to women. It could be seen as a bit exaggerated (even though men could act the way this movie shows and worse) but I think that it is just the nature of movies.

I'm a woman and this week alone I've been followed by one man when I went home from work, another man made a joke that I'd be raped one day, and another one blocked my exit out of a train while saying he liked my tits. Plot twist, men can be quite shitty

To be fair in almost every single review he tends to have quite similar points, something that I noticed from binging the podcast is how frequently he says "this movie has a not necessarily amateur, but kinda like seems low budget at times" not hating but he does say this incredibly frequently (usually to James and David's disgust 😂)

After watching TOP GUN: Maverick, I recommend watching TOP GUN first before watching TOP GUN:Maverick, it greatly enhance the characters depth, and emotional beats of the sequel. you knew the the characters trait and their emotional baggage going into the sequel instead of figuring it out while watching the movie.

She most def uses the hatchet. After James tells him "Your love.", she runs her fingers over the edge in the way it is done to check if an edge is sharp. Just before the title flashes. It doesn't get any more suggestive than this.

Wow, I completely disagree re. Moon Knight. I *loved* the editing and direction and the music was incredible - it amplified his experience, and I could feel his disorientation in quite a visceral way. Also I'm from London in the UK and have no issues with his accent. :)

Listener is right about riley. He contradicts himself to often and takes way too long explaining, defending himself just to save face. Its like all he talks about. Dudes got a fragile ego and sounds like hes walking on eggshells when he has an oppinion because he doesnt want to "upset" "woke" culture.
