alcohol is the worst drug we ever discovered. I will never understand why they deal it in airports and on the plane. If you cant fly without needing to drink see a doctor or find alternative travel

Anti-anxiety meds/sedatives can be just as bad, and sometimes alternate travel isn't possible. I don't think the problem is the alcohol itself, it's that people are too frequently over-served. There should be a drink limit cap or better training for flight attendants. The majority of people who drink on planes are completely fine.
