Dear Dr. Thanks for this great video. My back ground is original Wuhan virus July 2020 followed by omicron December 2021. Severe cognitive impairment post covid ( named to belittle the situation as brain fog) I was suggested to take a high dose of Benfotimne upto 1000mg per day. After three years of severe cognitive issues plus pots syndrome . Peripheral neuropathy from vaccine injury. Five days after taking 900mg of Benfotimne I actually started sleeping through the night. No more waking 3-5 times a night due to fluid build up from Pots Syndrome. This was a complete game changer.. Its also helped drastically with cognective function, six other long covid/ spike protien injured people have also all had the same relief from the high dose of Benfotimne🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thanks for sharing this information, especially on the recently study from 2023 👍🏼 Blessings from Te Waiponamu ( South Island) of New Zealand

@@ArsalanAspires Many thanks 👍🏼 All I can say is Benfotiemne has helped drastically. I'm also taking Augmented NAC now and Nattokinase as it's believed I'm probably still producing spike protien after two years. But NZ health ministry is extremely controlling on any tests which will prove Vaccine Injury. Ie IgG4 antibody test New Zealand had a worlf first break through in 2022 a covid antibody test which shows your covid antibodies levels and if it's from natural or vaccine. This test is now unavailable in NZ because of the major NZ testing labs purchasing the Rako science who developed the tests. Noting Awanui labs purchased Rako science and Awanui labs is still doing studies for phfizer and is a major shareholder in Awanui labs the NZ main testing labs is owned by none other than the Ontario teachers pension plan.. pretty odd right. Justin Trudeau interfering in the medical system of New Zealand 🤦🏼 Not a conspiracy, just some facts people need to be very aware of. Thanks again for the video, I've shared it in a long covid group to hopefully help some others 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Before i found about my b1 defeciency The Lord showed me in a dream to start eating the little round squash pumpkins. I did'nt know why. When I found out I needed b1 I googled foods rich in b1. To my amazement it showed the specific pumpkins. I eat one and a half a day and I am fine. When I ask Him about other meds, He says if I wanted you to take it I would have told you so.. Are you speaking about acorn squash, small green squash shaped like pumpkins? Sometimes they have a bit of orange or yellow as well, but are mostly dark green. Just curious if these are the ones you mean. Thank you. =)
I’m pretty sure I have drug induced thiamine deficiency (antacids everyday) along with stress, bad diet, lifestyle, binging alcohol once per week. Then I took Bactrim antibiotic and it really exposed my underlying thiamine deficiency and I haven’t been able to recover since then. I just recently started taking high dose thiamine. My symptoms include: chronic dehydration no matter how much water/electrolytes I drink/eat and I believe this is due to impaired intracellular hydration and mitochondrial energy dysfunction. I also have the tingling and prickling in my face and head that started after the antibiotics. Thiamine deficiency is actually VERY common. You said it was not common. If you think about western diets along with sprayed foods with pesticides, overuse of antibiotics, antacids, SSRIs and sooooo many other medications that doctors prescribe to patients to mask the symptoms. There are so many reasons why so many people are low in thiamine. The RDA hasn’t been updated in 80 years.

Re feeling dehydrated try adding some some himalayan salt and or or plain electrolytes into water. This will retain water and rehydrate you. Re: headaches or migraines upto 400 to 800 mg vit b2 or riboflavin to stop it as you feel it coming on. Dr Berg has a video. Studies done at Griffith University Qld several years ago. They recommended 400 mg vit B2. Take bentothiamine. As per above. And or for headache or migraine take magnesium. Take it as magnesium glycinate every day you may need more then the recommended dose for a men or a women. Take vit b12 supplement sublingually in the form of methyl cobalamin or injection form. Sometimes all are required. Caffeine from coffee can also help some people. Get your vision checked as that can give headaches. However the first thing to do is get a ct scan or mri to check for brain tumors.

why don't you just wean yourself off the forms of tea you are using and see how you feel as you don't need anyone's permission to do so. Cut back slowly ...if it is caffeinated you may suffer a headache for a few days ....a withdrawal symptom....I did this many years ago ...the headache lasted about 3 days. At that time which was 26 years ago I was not using any electrolytes so possibly using electrolytes in your water may help this ....just a thought.

Doctor, I have a question. If the Thiamine does resolve issues, does that mean I will have to take it for the rest of my life? I assume I was deficient of B1 due to 10 years of alcohol abuse. My issue was I was a WEEKEND ONLY binge drinker. For the most part, i wouldn’t really have much food the entire weekend either, if I did it was junk food. I am almost 13 months alcohol free and that will remain for a lifetime. I have 0 interest in drinking anymore. But I am trying to get my body better. When I quit drinking, I didnt have ANY withdrawal symptoms due to not being dependent on it. I drank on the weekends simply for boredom, which was dumb. My symptoms included EXTREME fatigue, depression, anxiety, STRESS, occasional chest pain, tingling sensation in my face, concentration issues, extreme constipation (some bleeding due to constipation) and a few others but those are the main ones. I think the years of alcohol abuse stripped my body of vital nutrients and minerals so my body is screwed up. The vitamins I just ordered are D3+k2, B1 + benfotiamime, magnesium, b complex, multivitamin and collagen powered (with all types). I am still waiting on my D3 to be delivered, although that’s actually a hormone. So my question is will I have to take b1 for the rest of my life? I also fast 7 days a week. 22/2. I fast for a few reasons. 1 for health but mainly when I eat during the day, i feel EXTREMELY even MORE fatigued and sluggish. I did have ADHD as a child (not currently medicated) so that could be where the concentration issues are coming from. I only ask bc I am really bad about forgetting to take my vitamins everyday. I need to also get my vitamin levels tested as well as my hormones. My last doctor i seen wouldnt order the test for me. She only did a CBC, Metabolic panel, B12 and thyroid check. She said everything came back normal and all my organs are functioning normal, which is awesome considering my years of binge drinking. I am HOPING the B1 and D3+k2 in addition to the rest of my vitamins resolve my issue. I never knew d3 and b1 could cause constipation and fatigue and all that. I have been taking mirilax for the past 2 years just to use the bathroom but as of 3-4 weeks ago, it seems it’s not working as good. Any thoughts?

Do certain medications affect B1 levels? I started taking Nifedipine; as a result I experienced constipation. At the same time, I changed to a WFPB diet-meaning more carbohydrates. Since B1 is a cofactor for carbohydrate metabolism, I’m thinking taking Benfotiamine might help. I have other symptoms of B1 deficiency: muscle weakness, balance issues, neuropathy in the feet. @kristy22 Benfotiamine is a fat soluble version of B1 that requires bile output, lipases & a different transport system to assimilate at a cellular level. Those who have fatty liver, impaired liver func, NALFD, removed gall bladder, poor bile output, obstruction of billary ducts, SIBO-C, pancreatitis, poor enzymatic output esp lipases ....do NOT assimilate benfotiamine well....but do remarkably well with the water soluble versions such ad thiamine hcl or even allithiamine. I take thiamine hcl and use manganese to boost thiamine uptake and magnesium to support thiamine dependent enzymes.
