I did the M50 intake manifold swap on mine. Huge improvement up top. I custom tuned my ECU, mostly just spark and MAF tables. Oh, and a redline bump to 7k rpm in 1st and 2nd gears. It absolutely rips now. Your comments about large front camber in the rain are true. I actually reduce my front camber for winter driving.

Also you can get rid of the ACS light by taking the electronic piece off that throttle body plate by and rotating it open. Just pouch it back in after removing two screws and boom 💥 less unnecessary lights on the dash.

I found the same thing with the whole catchn every groove in the road deal, I found that if you make the wheel base wider it does the same thing especially if you don't upgrade your shocks to accommodate

23:46 please stop 🛑 ✋🏼 that neutral after a pull thing that’s the absolute worst habit. Unnecessary first off dangerous and horrible habit that transfers to track driving. People that do that clutch in at turns while braking to slow another huge no no. Keep it in gear always. Shift up or leave it in gear. Never know what’s going to happen and you need control of the drivetrain at that moment. Need to slow revmatch every gear down every time always. Then transfer to revmatch heel toe to slow EVERYWHERE always that’s called practice. Ok rant over lol 😂

From that satellite guy. Manifolds I think contain a crankshaft. Bmw was in the move finding Forester where Matt Damon dog eared the Sean conneries book he gave him ( hence manifold). Matt Damon says bmw logo is from airplanes

Grab a OE style leather Shift boot and OE ///ZHP knob from Race German it will look and feel so much better than that eBay looking stuff 👍🏼👍🏼 I had that same eBay boot and I was so much happier with the clean look of the leather

I just purchased an E36 M3 waiting on delivery. Can you elaborate on the low-end torque loss with this mod. Sure, I heard many say they get it back after they run a flash. What nobody tells you is 'how much' of that torque do you get back? is it 50%, 80% is it 90% . 100% what? can you give us an idea of how much torque you get back after you run the flash? thanks.

You'd be fine in an M3, they have 3.2L of displacement after all. But a lowly 328 needs all the torque it can get, and the manifold is not so good idea.
