you have inspired me for my e82 125i build here in eu(128i in the states) Instead of an e92 m3 inopted for this project as building stuff fullfils you longer than just buying outright. Your videos show how awesome of a platform the e8x/9x chassis is and really got me started in the hobby. currently on the fence on going widebody. but sorting out the handling and mechanics atm. I have gone for 4-way adjustable st XTA plus coilovers. semi slicks from nankang. due to the lack of power i have gone for f2x mperformamce calipers with nx72+ pads and tarox slotted rotors with braided lines and race fluid.full m3 control arms in the front; on the rear i have only swapped the upper front link for M ones as it is bushed differently to the oe ones. Next will be a sway bar set from h&r and rear sibframe bushings and a lsd. for both of which i need a lift first 😅 the thing basically mecanically will be a NA 1M Got in way to deep but really enjoy it. Thanks for the motivation and keep up the amazing work

So good! I have a 135i for about 5 years now and you got me in the process to 1M convert it. I’m going to do it the right way as well and slowly but surely will try to do your same setup here as much as I can with minor changes. Great video! Best 1er on YT IMO.

Been following since the OG m2/supra days and so much of your tutorials/vid have helped me work on my m4. It has been great seeing you and the channel grow, I still think you should have a bigger following especially being one of the guys on youtube who actually does the work himself nowadays most others seem to outsource everything. The builds have been great as per usual, you're killing it man 🤟🏿 king of working on the whips in white shoes 😂

Absolutely love this build and the series on the 1er, it gaves so much more value because it’s build from scratch But if you want to make it handle even better, If not already on there, put some m3 arms on the front with millway street bushing in there and indeed a front sway bar. I think you found the perfect balance for the rear with bushings without going to hardcore

Next time you do hard lines and they are corroded like that, just bend the clips, then you can simply unwind the soft hose. But i also learned this hard way after snipping my long hard lines off, and they were not sold pre-bent in Europe, so i just ended up re-flaring my remaining brake lines, replacing the snipped section with cupronickel lines.
