Thieves scatter after store employee pulls out gun to thwart robbery

A group of would-be thieves was stopped in their track when confronted by an armed store employee. Footage from a Pleasant Hill, Calif. consignment store shows what happened.

The store owner is lucky these morons did not bring a pistol each, or else it would've turned murder-robbery real fast. It's hard to say if they were smart or dumb because coming in without guns and leaving at the sight of a gun will earn them brownie points in court if they get caught.

Yes, this is a perfectly valid use of the 2A. You notice how he didn’t need an AR? Unfortunately the 2A is used by the gun lobby and the NRA as a way to purchase politicians to ensure no common sense gun-control measures are put into law in this country. This video, and the many videos I’ve seen recently, prove you don’t need an AR to defend yourself. The NRA and the gun lobby have brainwashed too many people into thinking they do, and that any call to limit AR-style firearms is an infringement of the 2A. No one in America thought they needed an AR until the 1980s when the gun manufacturers realized how much more money they could make with them and tried to start selling them to the public. There was even a debate amongst NRA members back then as to the validity of having ARs available to the public. Even Ronald Reagan said there was no need for the average American to have an AR. It always makes me curious as to why people who are so critical of the influence of big pharma in government, a group of businesses that have so much to gain from purchasing politicians, have no problem when another type of big business uses their influence and money to buy politicians to stop them from enacting laws that even the vast majority of Republican voters support. People should ask themselves why they are super critical of one, but blindly support the other. The answer isn’t that hard to find if they are willing to be honest with themselves.
