Hey peeps! There are so many options for getting to the DLC early, and so many variables. To some, this route will seem completely over the top. For others, it will seem far more complicated than farming Greyoll for a couple of hours, and bullying Radahn and Mohg with summons. So, this is my take on how to do it in a way that maximises ease without using summons or doing repetitive farming. Feel free to season to taste! I also laughed at myself while editing this, at the most "beginner-friendly" video I've done in a while, having the most complicated analysis of two boss fights on this channel. I hope I didn't make it seem harder than it is, but thought it might be useful to explain what's going on in both the Radahn and Mohg fights in detail. Hope you enjoy the vid!

This is another amazing video. I was really busy with work when the DLC dropped so I have only played it for a couple of hours. I saw your recent Dryleaf Arts build and thought it looked like a lot of fun so I started a new character. The Bloodhound Fang path is works great. For people that struggle with doing that fight early, you can always summon Blaidd to help you. Just go to the Mistwood Ruins where you hear him howling, ask Kale about it, then use the Snap gesture Kale gives you to get Blaidd to come down to talk. You can then summon him at then Darrowil evergaol. Also for Yura, you don’t need to talk to him or fight the dragon to progress his quest. You can just go straight to Nejirus, then talk to Yura to the north after the fight. Then he moves to outside Raya Lucaria gates.

Another fun boss to poison cheese is the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast in Gelmir. If you use the spiritspring jump and land on the edge and ride around his back, he won't agro, and you can sneak up and poison the rock. This nets you 21k runes, 5 Smithing6's and 1 Somber6. Combined with the other easy to get 6's in the opening areas (3 in breakable statue in Gelmir, 2 in the breakable by Auriza, and the 3 in the breakable in the tunnel from the setup guide) and you get a +18 weapon instead of a +16 before any bosses.

Over the last 2 weeks, I have tried all sorts of different weapons to rush to the DLC. BHF is still the best choice of weapon, and this is the simplest and most effective method. I managed to get it on my 3rd turn, and had i not panicked, i could probably have done it on my first. Thanks, Thingfishy. Awesome video!

This is great but if you want to get to the DLC early without having any skill at all, the easiest way is to use summons. Here’s the method: 1) Get vigor to 40 immediately after running through weeping peninsula and grabbing both halves of the dectus (bleed grease cookbook can be easily grabbed from Fort Haight) by killing Greyoll with the morning star. 2) Talk to kale, snap finger to call Blaidd 3) summon him to kill Darriwil to get the bloodhound fang and level it to +6 (4). Run through caria manor and start ranni quest (5) Kill Radahn using the festival summons (6) Go underground to Nokron to get the ghost glovewart bell bearing 1, the mimic tear ash and the fingerslayer blade. (7) Return to Ranni and then teleport from Renna’s rise to Ansel River Main. 8) Get one of the many somber 7s in Nokstella, as well as the ghost glovewart bb 2, and the glovewarts 7,8,9,10 all in the area 9) upgrade BHF to +9 and mimic tear to +10 (10) do Varre questline and then (11) watch your mimic tear crush mogh w/ a max level BHF. If any issues use a bow and do the bird farm in moghwyn dynasty to get more rune levels.

For your next setup run video. You can get x3 smithing 3s in jarburg along with 2 more cracked pots and another rune graveyard. You can cheese Greyoll by killing her and riding back to the grace by the fort and resting before she fully dies. You can grab hoarfrost stomp ash of war near farms manor to put frostbite in addition to bleed on the morningstar to kill her faster

@williamriggs1854 farming her 1 time will get a new character to about level 40-45 depeing on class starting level. Thats 30ish levels for 1 kill. Next kill now, using another pickle foot for extra runes & use level 40 to be generous, killing her again will allow you to get to level 48. Meaning 8 levels for the work you just got that 30 levels for. Not worth the time investment. Since every level up cost expential more runes, fighting enemies that are not at those higher end game levels means you quickly need more than what she provides. You genuinely get more out of killing her 1 time, keep vigor below 32 & equip the seal talisman found in the fort she protects as the damage absorbstion negation becomes outweighed by the bonus flat hp gain of the 5 levels at 38 vigor.

Another easy method for mogh, spam rot breath with your mimic. Let your mimic start first while you get some distnace from mogh and giving aggro to your mimic. Then cast rot breath yourself midway through your mimics. By the time yours ends your mimic will be casting another one stealing the aggro right back. Pretty much mogh just gets stuck beside your mimic the whole fight.

If you're going to go through the trouble of cheesing your way into Leyndell and doing the sewers for the shackle, you might as well cheese Mohg instead. There are also consistent cheeses for DTS, O'Neil, and the Dragonbarrow Bell-Bearing Hunter that are way quicker than poison. Also, why not use Bloodflame Blade? You had the requirements and it would've sped things up :)

The easiest way I found to do npc fights is to use a spear with giant hunt. You can launch them into the air before they even get a chance to stand up so just keep them always in that stagger loop. I bet all the tough DLC npcs like that.

I mean, for the second rune to get into Leyndel, given graces unlocked, you might as well just kill Rykard, because no matter what cool DLC build you're trying to pull off, on Rykard it would always be the same build. The only downside is locking yourself out of Volcano manor rewards. Also, given graces unlocked, there's always the bird to cover the runes for the bosses you want to keep alive instead of cheesing them. Also to avoid frustration, use sleeping pots on lobsters. One pot is enough for each.

Glad you enjoyed it! Yura has to die before Eleanora will invade, so either you do the questline and he is killed by her in Altus, or you kill Morgott and he is taken over by Shabriri in the mountain tops (how I usually access the tear) . So for early runs it's the questline, but normal playthroughs, you just do it before Mohg in the late game.

I did this challenge literally one month after the DLC came out three times 13 separate level one characters. The first one took me 11 hours because I needed help with.Mohg . Second time took me six hours did it all on my own? Third time took me about 4 to 5 and also did it all on my own and didn't even need the Lord of blood tear

Just wanted to put out a PSA for folks following this route: killing Mohg will lock you out of gaining the White Mask, as well as the rest of the War Surgeon armor set, unless you get them beforehand. To do so, kill the "Nameless White Mask" that invades you in the South-Eastern section of the blood pools in the lower areas of Mohgwyn Palace. The correct invader should invade pretty much directly west of the "Palace Approach Ledge-Road" site of grace. Good luck, Tarnished!

I beat base radahn at lvl 17 with +6 bloodhound fang and manage to glitch out mohg and get in the dlc at lvl 17. Beating radahn at lvl 17 is my second greatest achievement after no hitting friede. I backup the save and dont care if the glitch gets patched again 😂.

Im doing similar path but dont cheese dragon, im starting Vare quest early to get all runes and level 10 blood fang, im not wasting time on puryfing tear and Mogh shackle , instead im leveling mimick to level 10 (which i found is faster than aquiring 2 fore mentioned trinckets) ,farming bird to level up further, then we bum rush Mogh (blood grease) , few attempts and good rng he is dead in seconds😂. All should take between 3 to 6 hours depending on experience with the game.

Start with confessor, kill 1 dragon preferably the one in limgrave, go to calid get rotten breath, spent 3 lvl in arcane. Radan chese= breath twice while he is bussy with the summoned nps, wait till it wears off, 2 more breaths and he is done. Keep the most possible distance between him and u. Mogh cheese= all the videos where u fall of that cliff while using heling bought from corhyn at round table hold. No lvling up weapons needed Youre welcome

Not fully true! Bleed & madness proc faster due to arcane scaling, however frost, rot, and deathblight for example cannot proc due to not having arcane scaling spells for it. The scaling for status also is directly related to arcane for the few that will. This early on the status change won't be effected at all.
