Ok girl, I got you…I went through this (with twins), and this is what worked for us… For her clinginess AND her not wanting to socialize with anyone outside of her familiars…this is just her feeling insecure. So get some figures (dolls, block people, army men, whatever she likes. And sit down with just her for 20 mins a day and play dolls with her (on HER level…don’t try to teach her or anything like that…just play). Play the rolls like walking up and saying hello to the other “people”. The one on one undivided attention will help her with her clinginess and the role playing with the dolls will help her develop a healthy, natural way of how people interact with other people. Double whammy. :) As for the sleep regression…she will do it a few more times too unfortunately, so this is the area it’s good to teach them lots of self comforting and self soothing techniques. One that worked great for us was getting a weighted “lovey” (one of those stuffed animals with the little blanket attached, but a slightly weighted one (make sure it’s meant for kids so it’s not too heavy for her). The trick is YOU carry it around and love on it, have her interact with it some, but mainly have her connect it with you and then the first time she has trouble sleeping, give her that lovey and see if she finds it soothing (might not work the first try…don’t give up on it). Not only is it something she will associate with the comfort of her mom, the weighted lovey will make her physically feel more secure. Hope it helps! You’re doing great (and I have never felt more connected to you than I do with this video girl lol…alllllll the same issues and worries over here too. …inability to lose weight all of a sudden, jacked hormones, life balance, aging parents, mom guilt…Getting older sucks lol.)

I love the honesty in this video ❤️I feel like a lot of “older” KZbin watchers have noticed a downfall in KZbin content in general and the content creators just kinda gloss over things. Personally I love seeing vlogs and I mainly look for people I relate to (like who doesn’t lol🤦🏼‍♀️). But honestly I love your channel. It’s very no bullshit and feels like such a breath of fresh air.

Love how real and down to earth you are. Life is not always a bowl of cherries, I love that you don't pretend it is! Please talk more about the hormone stuff, if you feel comfortable of course. I'm going thru some similar stuff and have no one to talk to about it anybody to discuss with. I'm 49 trying to stay in shape, I've totally lost my sex drive and it's becoming an issue with my husband, obviously. And loosing hair and all kids of other stuff and I think it's my hormones. Would really love to hear more about your journey and what is working or what your trying now. Thanks!

We're currently in the toddler bed transition phase. If you have an extra mattress then put it on the floor that was a big game changer for us. We also wait until little has fallen asleep before we sneak up. We think it's just due to them wanting to be close with us. It's just her wanting to take ownership over her own space as far as the cleaning thing goes. She also sees you doing and wants to mimic you. Very normal toddler behavior

I'm in the same boat as you with your dad declining. I'm 41, he's 66 and was diagnosed with Parkinson's 5 or so years ago. Last year he had surgery on his back and something happened and he tried to get up and his back fractured. He ended up having some vertebrae transplanted and had a fusion. It's been really hard to watch him go through it. On top of it, my stepmom is terminally I'll. He's still working full-time, often from home. Seeing him frail and struggling to get around and not being in a position to be with him (he moved further away before he bought a retirement home) is horrible. I feel you. I'm glad he's still here, but it's sad to watch things go downhill and there's nothing to do. My heart goes out to you.

So bummed to hear you’re not profiting much anymore from your content.. so many of my fav KZbinrs for years now are now struggling with this. It’s truly unfortunate. Been here with you for almost 10 years now and have always loved your content whether it was makeup tutorials, animal vids, vlogs, hauls etc. you’ve always been authentic & real and that’s what I love most about you! I feel like I can relate with you and always have. I was pregnant with you BOTH times! So I love hearing how you’re handling the mom life and 2 under 2 because it is not easy! I’m sorry you’re going through so much right now ❤ Ps: are those silkies and polish hens!? Because I too have polish hens & silkies! They’re the best and just wait until they start laying! Silkies have little eggs in comparison to regular chicken eggs! Pretty cool and fun thing for the kiddos 😊

I have been loving your content. I used to be on KZbin for all the makeup/beauty content. Now, a lot of the videos I end up enjoying are vlogs chatty get ready with me. I had my first son a few months after you had Harlow and now I’m pregnant again. So watching all the stuff you’re doing through with them has been awesome. I also personally feel like I align with your viewpoints on certain aspects, which many KZbinrs don’t seem to share. Thank you for saying Prescott correctly! Also I don’t know about anyone else but I appreciate the “complaining” Lol. Let’s face it shit is not all sunshine and rainbows and life sucks sometimes and it’s nice to know it sucks for other people too. Not in a “haha I’m so glad you’re having a rough time” type of a way. More of a “thank god I’m not the only one” type of a way. If that makes sense.

Please give yourself grace. Being a mom is hard and being a mom of more than one young child is exponentially harder. When you add in the fact that you have so many things going on with little time for yourself it's difficult. I watched my dad pass away from COPD it was one of the hardest things I've went through. Growing up my dad played with us a lot. We played baseball, went to the lake, hiking, and walking on our hands across the yard. I really was looking forward to him doing things like that with my kids but he didn't get to. With Harlow it's just a phase, my advice is pick your battles. If it's something like wanting to sleep in the floor it doesn't really hurt anything, consider allowing her to do it, but sleeping in her room is a must. She will eventually get over not wanting to be away from you, she's probably seen that behavior from kids at daycare and is modeling that. Lately I find myself watching gardening videos. You are the only one that I have continued to watch in the "beauty" community on a regular basis. I watch everything you put out because you're real. You don't try to make it seem like life is all sunshine and roses.

Not sure if you should have Harlow seen about possibly just having slight sensory issues. Someone I know was just talking about her daughter not sleeping when she was young and freaking out because her bed was messy. And come to find out once she was more verbal, she didn’t like the bedding crinkled or not smooth. She found out she had sensory issues nothing huge but just some things bother her more than average kid. So once she knew all that everything was adjusting easier when they made some changes. Not sure again if that’s Harlow at all, but just something to consider. Love you! I’m a mama too and 6 months pp w my second. I need rose and my alone time too. Also been here for years. Love that youre navigating the mama dayz. When I became a mom... I was like... no one talks about how hard it is (in detail). Youre doing the new moms a service. I like seeing the day to day struggle. It feels relatable for all the moms who feel alone in their battles. Also, for cleaning... I like to watch YT videos of people cleaning to get myself in the mood to clean. Sleeping... we put our kids on a light & 🎶 schedule. For example... when the light is purple, its sleepy time. They go to their room and lay down. We also have a light for wake up time. We also have a "calm down" light for meltdowns. Lights and 🎶 can be put on a schedule or changed from the app 😊

Love your honesty and enjoy makeup, seeing your cute kids, animals, and living off the land. Acupuncture may also help you, if you are interested in that for the things you’re dealing with, hormones, weight loss, stress, etc. You’re doing great! ❤

Keep doing these type of videos no matter what your subs are into. I myself love watching them especially knowing I've already been there done that and sometimes it seems like we are living similar lives lol. Minus the young & beautiful part,🤭 even though I'm like way older. And we do miss those makeup tutorials BTW. But We will always stick by you and enjoy your Vids.

About the health stuff, literally same. Losing weight has felt impossible after my two kids and all my levels are normal except my A1C because I'm borderline pre diabetic, but my doctor wouldn't let me test my hormones because of my age (so dumb). It's so tough to juggle motherhood and work and health, so I feel ya! Hopefully, all works out!

Been here since Jan 2015! Whenever you upload I always add to my faves to watch throughout the week when I have some quiet time (mom to a very active 6 yr old). I really enjoy vlogs, any length but especially 30-45 mins and I dedicate coffee time to go through my list. I seriously don't care if it's something exciting or even just you sitting at home with the kiddos doing chores. I think I've commented this before but I've always enjoyed your content, even when your lifestyle was less relatable but your personality has always been relatable. I can imagine feeling really restless and having that hunger to be really creative, productive, and lucrative. Hopefully with that extra childcare your mind will feel less cluttered and the creative juices will start flowing. The right project and investment opportunity will present itself✨🔮

This comment really calmed me and means a lot to me this morning, while I sit here and drink my coffee while my son naps! Thank you for the kind words and for being here so long with me. I value that more than you know. I love to hear that you guys are cool with vlogs that are just about whatever. Bc that makes things easier and less stressful and as a mom, you know all about LESS stress lol XOXO

I think the first video I ever watched of yours, you had blue hair and I don’t even remember what it was about but i was so enamered by your personality. People who give real and raw feelings and opinions are so genuine. I feel the same way about RawBeautyKristi.. i dont have kids but i still find myself watching both of your videos, even if its 30 minutes of you cleaning around the house whilst talking about your opinions on different things going on in the world. You are a very cool person, and watching your videos feels like catching up with an old friend ✌️

I love how raw you are and that’s why I’ve been here since 2017! We all have these hard times in life and you are no different. The real ones who’ve been here for the long haul will literally watch you talk about dirt haha we love you! And no pressure to share your hormone journey! I know I would personally benefit because I’m in the same boat doing tests etc to see why I can’t lose weight since teenage hood. We love you! ❤

Your oldest could be clingy from daycare or preschool? Missing you? I know it may sound counterintuitive but offering support or getting my kids into conversations when at people’s houses helped a lot. Also a hug always helped my kids

Video suggestions or at least what I like to watch are cleaning videos, weight loss journey (I am also on my own journey so any tips or advice helps), Amazon hauls, clothing hauls, new make up (not necessarily tutorials) stuff like that. Although I do watch all of your videos regardless 😊

I still watch makeup tutorials, and reviews on YT. I'll always love the creative aspects of it. I really like the lifestyle content, too, such as the chicken stuff and gardening. I just lost my dad April 26th; he was 65. My heart goes out to you. It is extremely hard to watch a parent decline.

Give yourself grace and more girly. Don’t be so hard on yourself, you’re beautiful and everything will work itself out. I love chickens! We built our coop and run like a tank because EVERYTHING wants to eat chickens. Make sure to have wire cloth and have it underground around the run, animals will dig and get them.

I personally enjoy longer content so I am pretty much on KZbin more than anything else. What interests me is vlogs, clothing hauls, occasional makeup videos, true crime, hair videos, health related content can be helpful to many people but of course only if you are comfortable sharing. I love animals so I would watch any content you put up with your animals. I found you a few years ago when you colored your hair and makeup content as well. I loved your personality and how real you were and that’s why I have stayed. I am sorry to hear about your dad and what you’re going through. Also, don’t be sorry for venting it is real and that is relatable. 🧡
