Awe I’m sorry it’s been a tough day. I’ve had so many of those. Especially pregnant and caring for a child while pregnant. It’s EXHAUSTING and very hard!! Take deep breaths and know that it’s just a season and it won’t be like this forever!

Having a game to play for distraction or whatever is HUGE! I have 2 daughters and our favorite game, we called it “think of an animal” and it was basically like 20 questions to guess what animal the person you are actually playing with is thinking of. You don’t need any game pieces or supplies. It can be played anywhere….(restaurants while waiting for food to be delivered was one of my favorite times to play.) The game works for all ages…. You can play with a 1 yr old and use sounds or colors to describe the animals… and when they are older you can seriously try to stump eachother and even wager with your kids for extra chores or whatever… ******great,great, great tip!!!!

When I brought my second home, it was definitely an adjustment for my first born son, he was 2 and he was the only child and grandson for 2 years! So yeah, big adjustment for him! My newborn was early and had to stay in the hospital for 10 days. So difficult! But I remember my Ex brought my oldest to see his new brother and as they were leaving he said, “ oh he stays here?! “ Meaning at the hospital lol 😂 He thought how fun I can see him but he stays there! Had to try to explain no lol and prepare him for him to come home. And when the baby came home I had in a swing and I was doing something in the kitchen, and heard the swing making loud noises, went directly out there and my older son was really pushing his brother way to hard and fast in that swing lol he even would try to cover him up with his blanket! But I’ll tell you I just reassured my older son and involved him and also did one on one things with him. It definitely helped and it got better. They are both older now and best friends! 💖

Hi ❤ for Harlow IF it becomes a problem of her sneaking out at night since she’s in a big girl bed! You can put a baby gate at her door so she has freedom but still safe (JUST IN CASE) I support you 100% ❤❤❤❤

That's what we're going to do!! It's a great idea so they can still open their door/have freedom but it's safe for her. I have sound on the monitor so I know if she even moves a muscle haha but she hasn't even tried yet.

I’ve stopped drinking to support my husband bc he was really struggling but i sure do miss some Kahlua or baileys in my morning coffee 😅 my next gap is not gonna be so close this time bc I struggled so much. I have a feeling it’s not gonna be much better though and I’m scared. I was lucky enough that my husband though he works long hours in concrete he was able to handle bedtime for our toddler while I was handling baby at night, plus at 2 our toddler was sleeping really well finally.

haha I'm with you... newborn is hard becase... newborn and then right after before they can walk or crawl is hard because they get bored easily but cant even sit up or move around on their own so they get really vocal and demanding while they have teeth coming in and while they're learning how to use their own voice LOL it is a tough age... and sleep regressions. Bleh I'm with you there. lol I'm trying to enjoy those moments where I can but I do agree that it's a bit more fun (and easier in a lot of ways) when they're 2+!
