Did you know that you can put a base block down, build a little bit on it, remove the core, and then build it all the way without a core in it? Removing the core stops base attacks. Add a couple turrets and when you're ready pop the core in and the base attacks will start ticking down again. BTW, love the Santa entrance!

Yeah, with some things like an SV or HV you don't want the core in the bottom so it's best to remove it as soon as you have the slot you really want ready for it somewhere in the middle of the ship. It's definitely good to know for building a base in a combat zone. In RE2 I spawned one of my bases far out of the Zirax territory and before I could add defensive units they sent about thirty drones, troop transports, and bombers after it and it was designed for Akua in vanilla so it was tough times. RE2 can be vicious.

I realize this is old now, but I'm going to see what I can apply in RE2. If copy/pasted can get me over the extremely restrictive weapons limits and do the solar panels that will be fantastic. Btw, you ARE my favorite contributor. P.S. for those who wish to spawn their favorite vehicles/vessels into RE2, you will notice the program makes substitutions on thrusters and weapons. I use Movado's Ono CV and when it spawned in it was woefully underpowered with the ion thrusters. I replaced them all with anti-matter thrusters, one at a time manually. But here is a great tip. I used the replace blocks command often for hulls and such, but I thought maybe it works with other things as well. I used it to replace thrusters on another vessel and as long as they are the same block dimensions it works. Fortunately, thrusters keep the same block dimensions for sizes in all three configuraions, ion, plasma, and anti-matter versions.

Once again, you nailed! I thought about doing a video like this and start doing some research... in my video I might just add those 'hover bases'... you can actually spawn them inside of a POI... a gun, a trauma kit station, inside a Zirax Drone Base lvl 9 is not a bad idea... trust me, I know.

The shower isn’t the problem. Copy & pasting to exceed block limits will get you banned in some servers.

thx for showing that EGS is still not ready to be released and in beta-phase ... ehh wait ... ;) tbh most of what you showed are nice tricks to outperform some borked mechanics in game. santa entrance is my favorit. Nevertheless I would not plan on them since Eleon can change it anytime or build a bug/feature for it. And on MP-servers these methods are not doing any good anyway (infinite money with statues? really?)

What block are you using for the Santa? The one with the slit in it?

Those are the “windowed” blocks found in the far right block menu. The ones usually used for walls or adding depth to areas.

Soooo, the Basic CPU exploit stacks extra usable CPU. So if you copy and paste a second warp drive, does that stack, allowing warping twice the distance? hmmm, I doubt it but now I must check. lol

the core one has been around for a long time and sadly limits have to be off for it to be allowed in

the copy/paste exploit thing didnt work on public server with limited devices, your bp will be tagged orange, it only work in SP or in special server wich allow it.

They are considered public & accessible by anyone.

That copy and paste exploit for CPU can get you banned on some servers, you should put a disclaimer in there that these should probably only be used on single player games....

It is worth noting that some of these *copy pasting CPU :P may get you banned on servers, so exploit responsibly :D

I think the only thing that doesn’t work are some of the freebies. I believe some can no longer be spawned for free, but I don’t know if vanilla changed that. It might just be scenarios that added that cost. All others seem to still work.

I tried to do the 2nd copy of a basic CPU and yes it works in creative but many servers won't let you spawn in due to block limits (those bastards) . But yeah the shower thingy and many like that are kick ass still. (I am currently watching your npc homeworld series. Totally awesome btw)
