Fitness and training > gear/guns/accessories. Get yourself: • A gym membership (good) • build a home gym (better) • A rucksack/backpack. • 50/100/150# sandbags • weighted jump rope • new running/hicking shoes Get yourself into no BS full body fitness. Exercise, so you won't continue to have bad "fill in the blank" ailments. Inactivity makes you weak and frail, not old age. Excuses and poor fitness get more people deleted than choosing the wrong LVPO for your long gun that you still haven't zeroed and verified at distance.

Speed loaders for magazines are also a nice bonus to have when loading your magazines (especially pistol). They're extremely useful for those who don't have the best hand strength as well as those who don't enjoy cutting themselves once every other range trip trying to load your magazines to their maximum capacity. It's a huge pain saver since my Beretta 92 magazines are made of metal rather than polymer.

-Med kit great idea -Magazines absolutely necessary -Electronic ear muffs are definitely worth it. - every long gun needs a sling and you should learn how to use the sling as an additional stabilizing point. - tools are handy make sure you have Allen wrenches and locktite that fit your sights/scopes - adding a pocket knife to your list - target stuff is important weather it’s a post hole digger, or duct tape or a can of spray paint. Milk jugs and soda bottles are great targets I prefer those types of targets that don’t make shooters focus on bullseys that don’t exist in real life

Unless you're some sort of ninja, I've never understood the logic of black medical kits/pouches/bags. If it's orange or bright red, it's easy to spot or find when it's in the bottom of your range bag, or when the light is less than iteal. It's also easy to describe to others when you're in a hurry, just tell 'em to grab the orange/red bag.

Beware the man with only one gun, for he surely knows how to use it. Each of us MUST have a practical trauma kit at arms reach at all times. Learn the MARCH algorithm. You can't beat the Refuge kits, but yeah, they're pricy; but if you use any piece in a life-saving effort Refuge will replace it without cost to us. Can't beat that.
