Nursing brass can help by making sure that milk can flow without any pressure from a bra that is pulled across you breast. But if you are smaller I could see how it could be easier, and if you have a very loose/stretchy.

The nursing bra truly depends on your body type. Those of us with really large breasts can’t physically manage without a bra that clips down 🥴 the few times I’ve tried a normal bra or sports bra it didn’t work at all and was super frustrating to try and nurse with.

I didn’t understand the intention here. I watch you regularly and respect your videos. But with this one, I thought your attitude with the underwear was contradictory to your previous comments saying you didn’t want to offend anyone. Then why harp on the bras and calling underwear “granny panties” and calling it a downgrade? I typically don’t comment but this felt off to me.

I think she meant she feels less sexy in those and prefers to feel the same way as pre bump. I am sure she didn't mean any harm like cmon we all like to make fun of things sometimes, she did not call anyone a "granny" who wears it, only she gave a "nickname" to those particular ones:)

I think it's easy to say that it's easier to just lift your shirt up to feed your baby instead of using nursing bras and tops. We need to keep in mind that we are all different shapes and sizes and not all Mummas are thin or bounce back quickly after having babies. Exposing our tummies is something alot of mums are not going to be comfortable with.

She said at the beginning of the video that all pregnancies and mom’s are different and she put out this disclaimer in the first few minutes of her video: “HUGE disclaimer, do not feel bad if you use any or all of the items that I happen to choose not to use” There was not one bit of judgment in anything she said, and it was constantly explained to be based on *her experience* and not at all voiced as: “because I think this is unhealthy, wrong, bad”. I find it so odd when people feel personally attacked so easily. Especially when someone like Sarah explained in this video (plainly and clearly) that the main reasons for her choices were to save money, space in her house and time. She has a whole album of videos on minimalism…which is what this video topic was on as well. Not one time did she say “those of you who wear maternity clothes are wrong, fat, unhealthy, and unfit”…that’s what you heard based upon your own insecurity. Your assumptions were not based upon anything she said.

Thank you for this. I know she can only speak from her perspective but as an overweight pregnant mom on the verge of being plus size, it’s very disheartening to feel like yet again, the world is MADE for skinny people and like they can be naturally more minimalist, have an easy time bouncing back after baby and don’t retain weight. I know that’s a very very vague, general statement but that’s just how it feels a lot of the time.

Im laughing at the comment about bras being comfy. I am a DD-EEand when those girls got full of milk or larger during pregnancies, I HAD to use a nursing bra. Maybe for girls with small boobs you can find comfy bras or you can just pull them up or down. But if you've large boobs, you will either cut off circulation/flow AND it hurts like a mother and its also hard to find comfy bras in general. I was able to find nursing bras that were way better. They also make cute ones now! So it helps when you already have a boob complex to treat yourself. Also, trying to picture me just trying to shove a boob back into a cup I have pulled up or down is straight comedy when one boob is like 4 handfuls of tissue. If you're leaking and using pads or milk savers too, a nursing bra was easier to just set one in and close it too (for larger boobs). So I hope that anyone watching isn't just using this as a guide for their own pregnancies, as everyone is different and every BODY is different. xoxo

So getting 2 maternity nightgowns which weren't tight & uncomfortable or too big & would get tangled under my blankets was a wonderful investment. And I wore those two nighties for years after. Lastly, I luv the BBHUGME pillow. I'm divorced and sleep on my side with my little dog at the foot of the bed and danget I'm gonna buy myself that big comfy pillow. It looks soooo comfy. Tru and co for large cups. Its the best! Get a small.or xs if you want it tight. Im a 30E and its actually tight enough around the ribs to support and gives good shape. It will be very tight at first but it loosens after a couple of wears. I have both sizes and both are good depending on how tight I want it. I hope you try it. I had it okayed with my OB before getting one and she showed me how to use it properly and distinguish my own pulse from baby's heartbeat. You have to treat it as "for entertainment purposes only" and NEVER NOT call your doctor when you think something's wrong just because you found a heartbeat.

HI! So I have a question that’s really been on my mind lately and I was wondering if you might have an answer… I have been getting very into minimalism lately and I have done lots of things to minimize my waste. Often times I see a lot of minimalistic influencers using glass or plastic food containers for things like cereal, pasta, flower, sugar, etc., and I really wonder… is that really minimizing waste, and how? If you think about it, either way, you are wasting a box, because when you buy the product at the store, it comes in a box or bag of some sort… And I don’t mean to ask this in a bad way or anything, I’m just genuinely curious if it is really Is helping minimize waste, or if it is just an aesthetic? And if it does, how do you use them so that you are being mindful? Like… Do you take the storage boxes to the store and fill them there? I hope that my question makes sense… I really am interested in buying food storage if it means I will be helping to minimize my waste intake, (and also bc it just looks so neat and tidy), but I have been struggling to find the answer to if it actually helps or not, and if it does, how do I ensure I am using it to the best of my intention. I hope my questions make sense… thanks! Xo

But at the end of the video she says she needs maternity leggings , dresses for the church and maternity active wear .I don’t understand 🤨😏 and that’s her 4 baby... I bought maternity leggings and nursing bras and one dress for summer when I was pregnant for the first time and I use them now at my second pregnancy.

People who “don’t get easily offended” getting offended 🙄 I got some Badger belly oil cause my nips were itchy af and it smells amazing. It has no artificial scents which are too strong for me since I haven’t used them in 6 years. I use olive or jojoba oil for the rest of my body. No maternity clothes cause I’m a bum and just use my honey’s tees with leggings I fold under my belly because I can’t stand anything remotely tight over my belly, and I go without a bra whenever possible. I’m definitely looking into getting that pillow.

When you have a G cup measure to start with .. a soft bra is like no support ans sports bra can becomz really tight. If you would carry big big breasts you want to wear a wirless bra that offer enough support. On top of that lifting the bra on top of your breast is sooo unconfortable specially when they are so sore an full . So yes i am minimal in my use of pragnancy stuff but sometimes you don't have to be so quick to judge why others find those as a better option.

I also never used nursing bras and am not a fan of it. I just lift my bra. It is easier. I had a doppler thing for like a couple months with my first one but didn't use it for the second at all. I so agree with you about underwear. I only had an exercise ball with just my first and didn't use it much. I became a minimalist when I was first pregnant in 2006, so I think going through having one of those and seeing it in the corner of the room, I was done with it. I never heard of pregnant people using tums. I never wore maternity things. . drawstring things I wore too. I did have a pair of overalls I wore for my pregnancies and then gave it to my friend who wore them for her 9 pregnancies (two did not survive) and she had two of her friends borrow it. Best thing i ever bought in pregnancy! My goodness I wish I had pregnancy pillows. . .I just used a regular pillow between my legs but it was uncomfortable. I love that you can use the pillow for nursing too. I was a boppy lover!! Man you have taught me so much in this video about the fragrance. Thank you. I am amazed you have no stretch marks after 4 kids. I had a 10 pound baby and it wasn't until I gained 45 pounds at 34 weeks that I got my first stretch mark or I would have been fine (did not get a new one for the second). You're adorable by the way. What a great personality!!

I didn't use cream, only natural oils (olive oil and coconut) with my second kiddo and I couldn't live without baths! It helped tons when I would get leg cramps or just feel overwhelmingly sore. My midwife's said Epsom salts in my bath were safe and they saved me so many times when I was too sore to function. I didn't use fragrances other then essential oil based ones (with midwife's consent and insights) mostly because I got super nauseous and bad headaches when I did use fragranced things

Other alternatives for antacids like Tums are either tonic water or alternatively baking soda or bread soda, mix a level teaspoon in water and knock it back, it's really really salty and strong but it works in under 30 seconds. Good for heartburn and also if you get a lot of lactic acid cramps.

Sarah: “After four kids I just know what works *for me*…so, huge disclaimer, don’t feel bad if you use any or all of these items that I do happen to not use, we’re all different and we all have different pregnancies.” So many commenters: “You’re judgmental and condescending of people who don’t make the same choices as you.” Me: 🤔 👉🏻If anyone felt any judgment from Sarah in this video, they were searching frantically for a way to be offended and likely have some serious jealousy issues that they’re not working through as well. I’m on a progesterone suppository supplement during this pregnancy and it literally causes extreme irritability…yet…I was not offended one time by this video. Try not finding fault or offense in someone who took the time out of their own life to help others out with practical tips on saving money and time.

When I was thin I didn't understand what it felt like to be pregnant and heavier - I used to just wear the cheapest softest t-shirt bras and whatever clothes I wanted. Now that I'm 30 weeks pregnant and gained SO MUCH WEIGHT I can only wear maternity wear in everything. Undies have gone up several sizes, bras have gone up several sizes and need to have more structure to them (which is why I'm already wearing nursing bras because if I can wear them postpartum it saves some money), working out is too painful and exhausting most days. NONE of my previous clothes fit except some of the most oversized sweaters that I can still squeeze into. Some of the things in this video hurt. 😞

Sarah, I normally love your videos but I couldn’t even watch this one the entire way through. Seems like the bigger your platform has become, the less in touch you are with your audience. I had my first child in 2019, and I didn’t stop bleeding for a month. I’ve been breastfeeding for over a year, and nursing bras are all I wear right now. This video started off okay, then progressed into the realm of being condescending and almost disrespectful. I’m not easily offended, but like I said, I couldn’t watch this in it’s entirety. I wish you a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery, but I’m tired of the attitude that you’re superior simply because you don’t “do what every other pregnant person does”. We’re all different, and those differences should be celebrated, not mocked or belittled.

Yeah, the lifetime of messages that small is better and measures your worth is so hard to overcome. I nearly cried when I bought bigger underwear during my pregnancy and have cried trying to find a nursing bra which would fit me. Tiny boobs that still fit comfortably in a normal bra sounds great. But Sarah's attitude in this video comes across really snarky.

First off…you’re very easily offended if someone’s personal choices for their own body and their own family offends you. Secondly and most importantly: In the first few minutes she literally said “disclaimer: If you use or don’t use the things that I have chosen not to use, no judgment. You’re not wrong. I’m just sharing my experiences.” Maybe rewind it. And slow down before flipping out.
