Things I hate about the Kawasaki ZZR600

Get ready, here we go. I'm sure the fanboy's will come out with this one. Disclaimer I don't actually hate this bike, just going through a list of things I don't like about the bike. But I love her...I really do!

The peg position does make me think cos I have big feet as well. I've been looking into getting a sport bike and seen a zzr for sale cheap in my area. Might go have a look :)

+Its2loudyer2old They are great bikes. I know I complained about it in this video but honestly I love the little bugger. I rode pretty far out with it that day as well and it didn't miss a beat.

I'm on my 4th ZZR600 over a period of about 14 years. I think that they are a great bike. Had 150mph on one of them (it may have had more but my riding position was poor, my helmet had slipped way too high because of the wind and I really struggled to actually hold on). A tad heavy for me as I'm only about 9-10st (about 60kg). Such a great bike.

The placement must be different on the 03, because I have the 07 ZZR600 with a Yoshi shorty pipe and I wear a 13 in men's shoes, I never have issues. I always wear riding boots too though, so it wouldn't meter anyway. I am super jealous that you have a gas gauge though! Keep the vids coming..

My hands go numb on my ZZR600 too, The handlebar grips are really small, they have an OD of about an inch and I wear a 3xl glove as I have big hands. I've been riding years so I know i'm not doing the newbie death grip. it is the diameter of the bar grips.

I loved my ZZR600E. I found it fast and comfortable. The only real complaint I had was the handling, especially the rear shock which was too soft. This made the bike feel wayward, especially when trying to scrub off excess speed entering bends on a twisty road. That was my only gripe, however.

I'm not down on the bike...I'm just listing things I don't like about it. I did a video about what I love about this bike and overall it's a great bike...good power and still holds it own...and its wicked above 8k

Numbness might be telling you that your body doesn't like something about what you are doing... not a good sign. You should be able to get some thicker grips, that might help a little.

issue #1 small bars. Cruiser riders have thicker grips because they're used to gripping bigger things. Buzzing! #2 don't look behind you, there are only cops and slow people back there. It's like a rerun of the walking dead. #3 you just got big feet. This is what i got from your video. Makes me realize that i don't want a sport bike. you seem to still be enjoying though.

Wolf you need a sportsbike. At least one in your life to experience it. As for me I'm enjoying my "toy" could I see myself going full sports bike. I don't know. But I would like to experience the other bike types out there before I make a decision. Wheelies might change my mind though.

+ReggiewithTwoGs you can wheelie on anything if you're determined. I've ridden a sort bike before. there nice, just not my style. I really want a dual sport/adventure bike that I can beat up on. I'm looking at klr 650s (old ones) since they can be had so cheap

I had the same problem with my hand getting numb on my Duc. I think that I was putting too much weight on my arms...it did suck, especially when you needed to stop and realize your hand is not functioning properly!

Yeah I took the bike to work today. The first time in a while and noticed I was putting more weight on it. Now I have to think about it and try not to until it becomes second nature.

I did that as well. One thing, on a long ride, over an hour...or so...your back will start to ache from keeping the weight off the hands...lol...it's a catch 22. I got the cruiser because I was taking longer rides. Just me I guess, lots of folks ride sport bikes everywhere...

Oh, boy, if you do not like this bike, you will never like any sport bikes because this is an excellent bike in every way. Just buy a Harley vibrator and forget the sport bikes.

Thank you for not watching the video.....The bike isn't excellent in every way, no bike is perfect, but this is a great bike. If you could understand the premise of the video you would know that I was just stating shortcoming of the bike. As every bike has strong points and weak points. Also the Harley Vibrator comment just shows me you do not like motorcycles, if you liked bike you would love and appreciate all kinds of bikes in all shapes and sizes.
