@RevoitNiilson8 күн бұрын
@losslesswifi that's where I really appreciate him. I get so annoyed when people call Dragon Ball, One Piece, Jojo or any other manga, an"anime", only because they have anime adaptations. Yes these adaptations are popular, and most people recognize stories like Hunter x Hunter as their anime adaptations, but that doesn't make their manga itself anime. To get you to the point, if someone makes an anime about Batman, Batman itself does not become an anime. Same with all these mangas.This annoys me especially when someone is trying to criticize some manga because of adaptation problems. But to be honest, that problem exists not only in the manga community.

@@RevoitNiilson literally who cares, let people think what they think. Also just use the term animanga, wow problemo solvo
@RevoitNiilson8 күн бұрын
@silentclaw6439 this is most stupid termin i've ever heard. Again, if Batman get anime, it would be still just adaptation. Or by that logic, batman would became anicomic? That's just doesn't make sense. I don't care what people think, until they start hating some manga or their creators because of anime adaptations. Most of the problems that people include when they talk about their hate for some titles, are just problems of adaptation.

Urasawa was recently in an event in Spain and said some interesting things, like that he can't understand authors just being satisfied after making one or two series, since he just constantly feels like creating more stuff. Or that when he read that one Astro Boy arc as a kid, he remembered as the saddest story ever, so when he got a chance to "remake it" into Pluto, he put a lot of work to not disappoint fans, but even more to not disappoint his inner kid who remembered that story being so sad and impactful.

I've been watching your channel for a little over 2 years, its an on and off thing but I've always held a great deal of admiration for your channel and the passion that flows through it. When i saw "friend" below a "things i like" in your thumbnail i got very excited to see you talk about 20thCB, i like to hear people speak with excitement about things i feel strongly towards haha and while i did get that, i was surprised to have that feeling be small compared to the interest the silver case made me have. I felt like a kid watching toy ads come early december. The silver case was my big stand out, but every single thing you mentioned had me glued to the video. (And you also convinced me to set aside some time for reading MW, i had been putting it off...) Thinking back on it now, i believe a lot of it should be attributed to you and the unrestrained amount of time you gave each segment of the video, in the best sense, you kept going on and on about things you liked, it felt like a lunch table rant among friends with the clarity and articulation of a modest librarian haha anyhow, this comment is long enough and i dont want to stretch it out more, just know the video turned out great and that there's a lot of value in this type of stuff, escapism is candy that can make you a diabetic before you notice, but this sort of "share so others will experience" mentality is great for making weekday afternoons (or weekends if you're very busy) more memorable. Thanks!

Since each game has additions and fixes to the gameplay. The Toei concerns are real. That said, I think One Piece videos could form a very interesting contrast to your Jojo videos if you approach them as a new(ish) fan exploring the story for the first time, rather than an expert explaining an object of long study. Both of those approaches are valuable, and you're skilled enough with literary analysis in general that I think you'd do a good job. Plus I just kinda want to see your take on Mantra and steel-cutting as haki prototypes, given the relationship between Hamon and the later stands.
@WolfOfWalfas8 күн бұрын
It's always great to hear more about what your favorite KZbinrs like! Like many watching, I would wager, I'd never heard of Dokinchin Nemurin. And hearing Hamon Beat saying "Nemurin" repeatedly definitely made me think of Magical Girl Raising Project (which also has a character named Nemurin), lol. I guess Raising Project is my own personal niche recommendation for JoJo fans. Like JoJo, each arc covers differing genres and themes with a mostly-new cast of characters each time. Each character has a unique ability which they use in sometimes unexpected ways, not too dissimilar to how Stand powers are presented. And just like JoJo, the first arc is near-universally considered to be the weakest (although I will personally vouch for both Phantom Blood and Magical Girl Raising Project Unmarked being really enjoyable). Raising Project usually gets boiled down to "Madoka Magica rip-off," and I think it's about time that the series got more love. The upcoming second season of the anime is going to cover Restart, which is my favorite arc in the series and is probably the best example of MGRP being more than just another "dark mahou shoujo" series. Restart is a whodunnit set inside a virtual fantasy world. It's basically Sword Art Online meets Among Us.
