Thank you for being so open and sharing your experience. Any medical procedure is scarey to go through and just having someone tell you what to expect is so helpful. I hope Daniela you are continuing to heal and your future is looking bright?

You are an inspiration. Your attitude has been very positive throughout this season of your life. Our 15 year old granddaughter has just finished her first round of chemotherapy. It helps to know what she may be experiencing.

I thank you so much for this! My husband is going through chemo and radiation for lung cancer. He has been one of the lucky ones that feels good so far. He’s half way through. No nausea. I’m sorry anyone has to go through this. Cancer is horrible. Thank God for the good scientists, doctors and nurses that try their best to heal us.

Thank you for everything you shared. My doctor hinted I may have cancer somewhere in my back. I'm 75, but a pretty determined person, and with God's help may make it through. I had breast cancer 10 years ago, but only needed a lumpectomy and radiation, clean bill of health since then. My mother died of lung cancer because she let it go until it was too late. I know from experience, if there is a concern, go to the doctor right away. God bless you for sharing.

What a strong woman you are! Lumpectomy and radiation treatment are brutal. I am so glad you recovered and gained strength from that experience. I wish you continued good health and tenacity for the future.❤️

This is honestly a wonderful video. Thank you for sharing your experience in such a candid way. It should be automatically shared with newly diagnosed patients and their family and friends! And also translated in every language possible! My mum is going through the process and living in a different country I don't necessarily get told every little detail, so it is really good to understand it a bit better. Thank you again Daniella and wishing you a prompt recovery ❤

Hi Daniela, Great video ! You know chemo is definitely something different when I walked through the ward for my first chemo and noticed a sign " WC for chemo patients only" . Staying hydrated is so important but what goes in must come out :) Hope you get a lot of views with this video !

Here is what no one told me and I had to find out the hard way. I've always had fine hair and after chemo my hair came back fairly thick and wavey. I was so happy. Just run a comb thru it and ready to go. They didn't tell me, don't get attached. A little bit down the road, almost overnight it changed back to my original hair. I was heartbroken. I want my post chemo hair back. lol
@DanielaMellen2 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing that info about how your hair came back thicker and wavy. It's good to know that hair changes are a side effect.
