THINGS TO DO IN DENALI NATIONAL PARK: Tundra Wilderness Bus Tour, Sled Dogs, Hiking & Riley Creek!

We are on a road trip through Alaska in our 2013 Ford Transit Connect micro camper van! Our next stop is Denali National Park! We spend 2 days, the weekend, exploring the park. The first day we tour the Denali wilderness via the Tundra Wilderness Bus Tour where we see amazing fall colors, bears, moose and ground squirrels! We camp at Riley Creek Campground for the night and spend the next day visiting the sled dogs and going on a short hike to the Alaska Railroad Trestle Over Riley Creek. The best part of the whole experience is that we were part of the 30% of visitors who got to see Denali, the tallest mountain in North America!

I'm a Lagunitas IPA & Tequila guy, not together. If I can't find that I'll go with 805, I think Mike would like that. btw your camera doesn't render Heather's hat or the chairs and then the yellows, you may need a new camera, just saying. The Fall colors are great! My tour was 4-1/2 hours, our lovely young lady driver walked the Huskies, she was so cool! Spotting Denali was great, you need a 200mm lens next time. You can get a signed conformation at the visitor center, that's fun. Make sure when you get up to Fairbanks you see the pipeline - pretty cool. Nice video, Safe travels!

Thank you for the suggestion, we will have to keep an eye out for that so Mike can try it! We messed with our camera settings (again and by accident lol) and unfortunately it caused some filming issues. We are hoping once we get caught up in vlogs in a month or two, to release them closer in time to when we filmed. That way we can see if there are issues with the footage and correct it. The problem is we didn't look at any of this footage for months so we didn't know the settings were off to fix them, the other problem is we have no real previous camera experience haha BUT we have been watching KZbin videos to understand our camera better so hopefully that helps! That is so exciting! September is a great time to visit, not only for the beautiful colors but cheaper prices haha We drove out to Alaska the last week in August. Then we traveled around Alaska for the first 3 weeks of September. We drove back to the lower 48 the last week of September. We went to Denali in the 3rd week we were there. Hope that helps! Alaska is ahead of schedule- we are from New York and the leaves start to turn in October as well 😊 We were in Alaska the last weekend in August and the first few weeks in September and they already looked like this!
