We found the best coffee shops in Waikiki, watched the surfers on Waikiki Beach, and then tried our hand at surfing the famous Waikiki break. I’m a horrible surfer but Waikiki Beach has a great break for a beginner.

Don’t let paradise fool you. Yes the scenery is free but we have our share of crime / homeless. Not to mention it’s expensive $. With that said, I’ve been here all my life (61) and when I travel I do miss the aloha spirit. Although Hawaii ain’t what it use to be it’s still the best place to live. 🌴😎🌈Aloha

I love their videos too! My wife and I are planning a trip with our whole family (four teenagers) in August and we’ve subscribed to this channel. Gotta love to try surfing in Waikiki, well in my case it was more paddle boarding as I never actually got up. We liked the International Market Place (i heard its closed now) even though it was probably touristy. Gotta enjoy a Mai Tai or 6 on the beach

Our time in Waikiki is almost over. We just left the Dole Plantation and are on our way back to the Waikiki Beach. It has been great, so far. We may extent our trip a little longer, not sure, yet.

We are staying at the Imperial Suites. On days we dont have a rental…how far is the walk from the beach to restaurants or shops? How easy/hard is it to get Uber? Thanks for watching. We love Lanikai beach and the North Shore when you have a car. Google maps is a good tool to figure out walking distances. Uber and taxis are available pretty well, surge pricing at night. Have a great trip.

I love your itineraries but I can’t find one for babymooners. What would be a good list of things to do for pregnant women? Couples on their babymoon with a pregnant spouse/partner?

A lot are closed as the upscale hotels are closed. Merriman’s and Roy’s Waikiki are open. I think Mugen and Azure are open but check.

Want to go to Waikiki soon but the mask mandates on the beach make me nervous. How strict are they when you are on the beach? I see in this video you guys are not wearing your masks when laying out by the water.

Aloha, they are strict on the mask mandate to keep everyone safe. You don't have to wear a mask when sitting on the beach away from people but you do if walking the beach.
