GUYS GUYS!! So there has been a lot of confusion with this trick and I'd like to clear it up! DO NOT just put the pile in your hand for r1 on top, r2 on bottom, and r3 on top. NO THATS WRONG. Those are rules applying to the card they are thinking of. So I thought of an easy way to remember. So for example for r1: "pile w/card on top" right. Show them the pile in your hand, and this all depends on if they say yes or no. If they say yes, FOLLOW THE RULE, if they say no, THEN DO THE OPPOSITE OF THAT RULE! And this concept I thought of applies to all the rules! So hopefully you guys understood that and please comment if you still don't get it!

You CAN actually do it with uno cards King = 1 Queen = 2 Clubs = red Hearts = green Spades = yellow Diamonds = blue Black = warm colors(red,yellow) Red = cool colors (green,blue)

if you're still confused, every time you show the person the pile of cards if they say yes then place it at the top, if they say no then that should tell you that their card is in the pile you didn't show them so place that pile you didn't show them on top instead because they said no to the pile you showed them. that's round 1 now show them the pile you sorted out and if they say yes place that at the bottom since in round 2 you have to place their card at the BOTTOM. for round 3 show them the pile if they say yes place it on top. if they say no place it at the bottom. then sort it out in two groups starting from left to right and then yeah follow his instructions

R1: They say Yes and you put it on top, they say No you will put it on the bottom. R2: The opposite of R1. R3: Same as R1. Done. Easy as that. Watch the video to make sure you count cards to the table correctly (from left to right) and it will work.

I'm not sure if anyone posted this before so sorry if it's a repeat... here's a very cool variation: Setup the cards in two piles as K, Q, K, Q - alternating colors - suits do not matter.. example (Red K, Black Q, RK, BQ. The other pile will obviously be the same but black, red, black, red.) Show the spectator the cards like you normally do all fanned out and the ask if they want the red queen touching the red king or the black on black (it doesnt matter). Do the exact same procedure to come down to the first 2 piles of cards on the table - the cards will never lie.. the "answers" will be what the card is not.. so for example say they picked the king of spades - the first pole flip will be a queen.. and the spectator will think you are totally wrong.. the second reveal will be red (king of spades was the selection) and the third reveal will be a red suit.. the final card is the king of spades throwing them for a loop.

I don't know where I'm going wrong with this, I've followed along doing the same thing half a dozen times now and the chosen card always ends up underneath the pile you flip to tell you the colour.

You might be placing the piles wrongly after asking if their card was in it. The order is Top-Bottom-Top for the pile with their cards in it. Example 1: Yes - Place pile you showed them on top No - Place pile you showed them on top No - Place pile you showed them on bottom. Example 2: No - Place pile you showed them on bottom No - Place pile you showed them on top Yes - Place pile you showed them on top In both these examples, the pile with their cards go Top - Bottom - Top. If you mess up the order the trick doesn't work. Might just take some getting used to the logic behind the trick.

3 yes/no questions can identify 8 unique answers (2^3), that's why this trick works. You could identify their card out of 16 (JQKA) if you just ask one more question as well. Neat!

This has worked for me so far; follow the "top, bottom, top" rule NO MATTER WHAT - even if they say no all three times(which will happen for king of clubs). The cards will be set and all you have to do is continue the trick.

Actually you can do this trick by using 8 random cards. You don't have to use chsd pattern. If you follow the rules, the selected card will end up on 3rd position from the top. I showed this trick to my friend. He could shuffle the card whatever he liked. Then he was amazed because i could exactly guess his card. By the way, thanks for the tutorial.

Whenever I try this and I pick a Queen of spaids the answer will come out as a queen os clubs. also if I pick a king of hearts it ill show as a king of diamonds. so basically the opposite suit

2:25 "in chase order" actually afaik the exact suit order doesn't really matter, as long as the kings and queens are both in the same suit order and it's alternating black/red (or red/black)

Thank you for the idea. My easier version works every time and easier to remember. 1st 2 steps are the same. Memorize a card. 2. I injog out jog face down, turn over 4 in jogged and ask if their card is in there. Do for 3 cycles. Difference is, I put their card Top all 3 rounds. Last round their card is last as they say yes or at Top of unseen outjogged. I dont worry about this premature reveal. Just casually gather cards and place top to bottom. Peel 1st card (was the 2nd seconds before) to show VALUE, Turn over 2nd (secretly 3rd) to show COLOR. Square up cards. Turn over as unit to reveal bottom card answer.

I invented an expansion from this trick that uses cards from A to 4 the differences are as following: -There are four rounds instead of three, in the last question, put the pile with the spectator's card in the bottom -The questions at the end are: Odd or even? Apart from the mumbo-jumbo to reveal card in mystic way, its simple method to determine card. Three questions of card exists or not is enough to locate one card out of eight: 1. First question will narrow down to 4 cards 2. Second question narrow down to 2 cards 3. Third question to narrow down to 1 card

For people that still can't do this trick it is easy and works with every card your holding. Just put the kings and queens in the order he has and follow these rules : R1: when their card is in the right hand put that pile on top, if it is not put the left pile on top, R2: when their card is in the right hand put that pile at the botom, if it is not put the left pile at the botom, R3: when their card is in the right hand put that pile on top, if it is not put the left pile on top

Switch it backwards and instead of club heart spade diamond, go diamond spade heart club, and then put the queens in top Then when you split the deck from left to right, you show the king or queen, then you go with the other cards, right to left I'm left handed too and this took me forever to figure out PS: YW Also do not follow his comment rules
