Here in the West we are victims of the many fads and trends that come and go. This is because we have a fairly new tradition of holistic medicine, one that is not even 100 years old. We try out new remedies and treatments on patients who are really nothing more than guinea pigs. As time goes on we discard the things that didn’t work only to try other treatments that sound promising, many of which will be discarded within the next decade or two, after many people have hurt their health by these continual experiments.
Contrast that with the 5,000 year old tradition of Ayurveda from India, whose fundamental principles were cognized by enlightened rishis. They say that when something is cognized from such a high level of consciousness, it is a siddhanta, or a truth that will never be unproven. So you can rest assured that the knowledge of Ayurveda will be sound and not have to be changed for future generations.
The video discusses some of the fads that are circulating around now and shows you why it is best not to follow those guidelines and instead listen to the very sound and solid information which has always been there within the ancient Ayurvedic tests. These truths are still relevant even for this modern era.
By following these fundamental principles of Ayurveda you can bypass all the incorrect fads which could be quite harmful to your health and rest assured with confidence that what you will be learning will be true now and for generations to come.
