Hi CBF! The GT40 and the LeMans Porsche would be great presents “to me, from me…with love.” I do think I will scratch build a 1/8 scale Lotus 72 someday soon, using an old Edai/Grip 1/8 kit. I will probably use only the engine block and wheels/tires…the rest will be made from brass and aluminum using the plastic parts for templates.
