John certainly knows how to give room and space for the artist to shine.

he’s already established himself as one of the greats. no need to showcase anything. if you listen to his albums, that’s how they are. less and less guitar solos and more about the music.

“Hi everyone I’m Ed’s friend John” was how he opened earlier in the night in his concert tshirt, then came back out for this. What an amazing show! Now I want to come back in the fall for John and see Ed open for him..

A feel and tone like Johns just complements any song like Eds so perfectly. Wish ed let him build up a bit after that full bend @4:40. You could just tell he knew exactly where he wanted to go with it. That was just his first idea. Nonetheless, a tour with these guys would be absolutely incredible. Suprised and not suprised at all how well they fit.

haha yea true, exactly what I thought. He really wanted to use that bend to go into the Chorus but Ed Sheeran didn't notice that and/or just wanted to drag it out a bit
