For all those who keep saying he interferes with the receiver, the reason he doesn’t get flagged is the same reason he had the most passes defended.. he plays the ball. He's always tracking the ball and his football IQ is elite..

I really like Sauce. Im not surprised people think he holds a lot. He does, but not enough to get called. Sure there was plays that should've been called but hes not hindering the catch, he holds onto the player to feel the movement of the player. Thats what makes him special. I think refs will crack down more on his holding though the more his career goes, but aslong as he doesnt grab the arms or hold someone from making their route, its clean.

Stingley was a better prospect than Sauce & it was really no debate.. The only reason why Stingley's draft stock was in question was because of injury concerns & not actual flaws in his game. Along with that, Stingley played in the best conference & had experience covering guys like Smith, Lamb, Higgins, Ross, Pickens, etc. Something that also wasn't mentioned much was the fact that Stingley had more tackles for loss & forced fumbles than Sauce even though he played in way less games.

Did you notice how the receivers in these clips never once were looking to the refs for a flag? It's because they knew they were beaten fair and square. Sauce is just on another level. The last CB to come around like this was Revis, where his ability to knock the ball away was so far ahead of everyone else in the league where people who aren't actually watching closely would just reactively blurt out "That's a penalty!" Seriously look closely at his coverage. Play it on slow motion if you have to. He never directly impedes the receiver's ability to make the catch. He goes directly for the ball and gets it nearly every time.

@@chemicalx324 It doesn't though - the rule's been changed in a couple of places: 1) contact is okay so long as the receiver isn't impeded, and 2) You can play the ball without having your eyes on the quarterback. @@jeanfourcade Bryce has a solid QB room over in Carolina; Reich, McCown, Dalton. That is critical for young QBs entering the league. Plus, the division and NFC are not as competitive as the AFC. Biggest difference between he and Tua is that unfortunately Tua has suffered multiple head injuries as well as some other injuries. Concussions suck. They begin to occur more often and at greater impact; it’s like a migraine that can last for months. Some guys just catch bad breaks with injuries. The league needs more quality QBs so more games are actually competitive. I root for all the young guys to at least get their shot to live out their dream playing in the pros. Frank Reich is a solid coach and better dude. Carolina could surprise some folks out there.
