I'm barely new on KZbin started just 2 weeks ago with faceless shorts and now with 72 subs. My biggest takeaway from this episode was in starting messy did trial and error and only hit over 1kviews once out of my over a hundred uploaded videos so far and yet to upload a long form. Until now still looking for that "clarity". Thank you for sharing those insights in this episode. . .

Started my KZbin channel back in June 2022, walking tours of out of the way villages , regional cities and outer suburbs of cities focusing on things like downtown, the hospital, the fire station, parks, sports fields and sub residential streets. Now I have 4700 hours of watch time and 925 Subscribers. I use a selfie stick and an iphone 12 for filming, and for video editing I use iMovie. I dont intend on changing anything.

Don't forget that being a KZbinr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of Famester of course to help) will always pay off at the end. Good luck to everybody, we will all succeed one day!!

If we have to run everything in our life what other people want than we aren't being ourself. What left for us ? Eventually will build up depression. (and keep in mind no matter what you do its never going to be good enough). There is videos which made for making money like advertising products and there. is videos which is much deeper about life and personal growth. People in this world are so disconnected from themselves and connected more to material growth involves ego that's why when they see this kind of topic they find boring or even get offended because of their ego.

Ms. Jessica, oh, to be your age with a brand new KZbin channel and the desire to speak to the world. I am 72 years old. I started a KZbin channel in 2021. I qualified for the Partner Program in one year. Like you, I love teaching and speaking to the world. It was very hard work for an old man like me. But, I hung in there and made new videos to follow other videos that only got 12 or 14 views. The EASY thing would have been to quit. At my age, I don't need this aggrevation. In fact, I quit every single week. I said "no more" after every video for the entire time. But. I always changed my mind and said, "Only one more." I am going to subscribe to your channel because YOU have what it takes. Thank you. Mr. Phil.

Try thinking of the avatar you are marketing to instead of the niche you are looking for. An example would be a 14 year old girl in high school who is shy and lacks self confidence. This person might want to see videos on hair and makeup, fashion, videos, exercising, beauty tips, making friends, gossip, state of mind tips, talking tips, book recommendations, app recommendations, and all types of other things. But as long as you keep making videos for the same type of person, your channel will grow without you having to stick to one niche. Thought this could help if you were having trouble picking a niche

My question on all videos that mention to "just start", what about the legal aspect? What type of business license do I need? Am I considered a business owner or independent contractor with KZbin? I want those bases covered BEFORE I get started. State sites for new businesses, in some areas, can be vague. And, calling can result in a very long wait time.

I make videos related to game development of a 3D platformer in Unity and my analytics are impressive. I got 837 subscribers after 20 months since the channel has been started and I am doing game dev videos since November 2022. I had multiple attempts in the past but all attempts were failed and there was no organic reach. Now I am happy because my channel has organic reach and it gets up to 1,000 views each 48 hours. I have been dreaming about KZbin since 2018 when I was still in high school, but I didn't know much of KZbin and didn't have my own niche.

Let alone upload and use the editing programs. A lot of why don't I have any space on my C drive. Where did I upload it? Were did that video . Disappear to, and how do I find it. Why is my phone filming upside-down. Thank God for how-to videos and family members with the Geek brain. I might faze out my first channel or cut it down to once a week and streamline it.all depends on how the second channel works or combine them. But one is budgeting and the other is weight loss and storytelling.

Question because I am confused. This channel is called “think media podcast“ but it looks like for this particular video someone is interviewing you for their own podcast? What is the name of the podcast you are on in this video? Unless this is one of those things, I think I’m starting to see more of, where you STAGE things to appear like you have some kind of audience and they are the ones recording you, but actually you are the one that created all of this?

The video started simple, helpful, and encouraging. Then it got so complicated and unrelated to anything I might create that it scared the bejeezus out of me. I will still jump in and risk being messy before succeeding.
