Just made this last night and it turned out pretty good.. The broth was a bit bland and a bit too spicy but I think my problem was that I was cooking for 6. Next time, I'll triple the sauce mix ingredients but using just 4Tbsp of gochugaru and add 1 Tbsp of dashida. Might also try using a mix of chicken broth and water too.
@qlevy71322 жыл бұрын
Made it at home. Mom wanted to try it since you know, different cuisine, also it was cooked by me and nobody else at home so its kind of a different thing. She is not tolerant to spiciness. Ran for milk, but she said its nice. I ate two bowls, one after another. Good comfort food. And i felt the warmth inside for quite a few hours :D

Just made it. Had to change a few things but it turned out fantastic. Used regular radish and red chili flakes instead of diakon and Korean flakes marinated porkchop instead of chicken. I had to lower the chili flakes amount and only half a chili 🌶 even than it was an the hot side but still good

So I have a theory about Claire and her food reviews. When Claire really loves the food that Aaron makes, she speaks Korean during the entire review. There are some videos when Claire speaks in English more and she also looks like she is kind of meh about what she is eating. It looks like she really liked this dish. That is my not so secret way to tell how much she likes the food. Thank you as always for your informative and entertaining exploration of Korean cuisine.
