I lived in Singapore between 1974 and 1984 and I miss the many beautiful old houses and apartments. The tiles are very beautiful. We had them also in the places WE lived. I see a lot of things in this apartment and hope that it can stay like this for a long time. It's a shame that they're tearing down the old things to make way for super modern ones.

Absolutely charming and restful. Its a little sad to note that what once was just ordinary middle class living is now only accessible to the very rich. I loved the respectful modernization, especially the black electrical conduits and switch boxes. Only thing I found a little jarring was the blue wall and red bedside furniture in the bedroom.
