i just made the rookie mistake of not backing up my nand with my 3ds. i just reset my 3ds and the cfw is still on there but i cant reinstall homebrew applications for some reason. this video is a great alternative and im very very glad that this exists

Omg! Why cant we get one that could replace my DS pokemon games. But to the level that they will work with poke transporter :.(. My pkmn black/white 2, soul silver heart gold with complete with pokewalker etc is worth so much $$$ and id love to no longer need to use them and just keep them stored and well kept

I got one of these recently and bought a 128GB micro sd to go with it but the Stargate 3DS would not recognise it formatted as FAT32 or exFAT. I repartitioned the micro sd down to 64GB and it still wouldn’t recognise. I then reduced the partition size down to 32GB and then it worked with both FAT32 and exFAT. I then increased the partition size by a few hundred MB and again the micro sd card failed to be recognise. So I think 32GB is the limit.

I have a guide for this card I'm using a 128gb card in it currently not sure what program you used to format it but mine works perfectly. I think I used a 64gb in the guide too .

I recently bought a NDSI xl 25th super mario bros anniversary edition and was considering buying an r4 cartridge or hack it but was wondering 2 things about the r4 cartridge specifically not the stargate 1. Can you put sd cards larger than 32gb in the cartridge as long as its formated in fat32 2. If put in a 3ds would it work for ds games If you could answer these questions for me itd be great

No however I didn't know there was 3DS Rom Hacks! Unless you're referring to cheat plugins still no because the game needs to be a legit encrypted game.

@@DNAMobileGaming there are pokemon rom hacks where the game is completely different from the original. For example there is a harder version of pokemon on the ds and 3ds

I bought one of the flashcards actually, im bummed i cant play sun and moon but overall its good. However, i still tryna gain access the the alex rider menu when kept my 3ds going error occured. If theres a fix im all ears dude

Format the sdcard to ExFat . The 3ds must be capable of reading ExFat partitions or a game file larger than 4 gb would be unreadable .

No the Ace3DS X card is only used for hacking your 3DS but isn't really required anymore as there's a new method for the latest firmware for the 3DS. Otherwise that card is only for NDS and Homebrew emulation.

Sky3ds+ doesn't work for this either I owned one and tried this. Fat32 only allows for files under 4gb to transfer and trimming the roms doesn't help with this.

@@DNAMobileGaming Am, I have Sky3ds+ and all my .3ds games are trimmed and they works... I trim them to add more games for 128gb microsd card. Last Hatsune Miku, Xenoblade, Pokemon UM, Bravely Default are bigger than 4gb (If I remember right) and I trim them too and they works Do you test on OFW maybe? (I don't know, maybe they not work there or you trim them wrong)

You can visit the 3ds hacks website I did share a generic guide but you have to basically follow the steps on their website it's super easy even my kids can do it.

This is just a flash cart, I've owned a Sky3ds in the past and never had anything happen to my 3DS back then and I used it for a long time so highly unlikely would this card brick your console.

This isn't an R4i card at all plus the R4 card is amazing there's so much love for it in the community still especially if you don't own a DSi or above. This card plays 3DS games alongside DS.
