I use to buy and resell. Once i found a rug at goodwill for 50$ i sold to peter pap from the antique road show. It was like 13 ft long had goat hair sewn on both sides i know it wss worth a fortune. I made 450$ but it was worth way up there! I love watching your videos!

In the sewing box, that was stitch witchery (iron-on hemming material)- basically they didn't use the sewing machine, they ended up using iron- on hemming instead and threw the leftover in the box is my call 😂

I'm thinking either a reseller or shopaholic/hoarder. It definitely reminds me of a friend's sister who would buy stuff all the time and just store it in a room and forget she had it. When something is marked 14k gold and doesn't test properly, it's usually 14k real gold plated over other metals. It's not pretending to be a solid gold item, but these are usually more expensive than costume jewellery. Hope this helps.

Be careful testing gold with a magnet , sometimes the clasp was changed and could be fake and the chain could be gold . I almost threw away a gold chain thinking it was fake because of the clasp , once I saw the difference of the clasp and chain I tested the chain and it was gold 😅🤑
