Not many motovloggers I've seen or know about vlogg about Indian motorcycles. I like and have an older (82) Goldwing and a newer Harley Davidson Sportster Iron ( which I'm in love with). The 82 is being ressurected from the dead. But it's refreshing to watch someone else on a different touring bike I like the different perspective. Thanks. And keep em coming.
@BrandonBicasso5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sticking around, Jeff! Really means a lot. Also, I would love to review more bikes outside of Indian. Some seem to think I'm anti Harley because of Indian but far from it. It's a bit difficult for me to get my hands freely on bikes to ride them and do rides like these. More to come, though.
@jefftilghman90595 жыл бұрын
@@BrandonBicasso I'm new to riding. So I'm not into a lot of different bikes like Shawn Smoak is. The ONLY reason I started following him is he had an Iron similar to mine, which is what I wanted and now finally have. The Shawn bought a Street Glide Special which I also eventually want. But I'm no where ready for something that big yet. I'm not really into any of the metric bikes, or not yet anyway. My Goldwing, which is another year before being near ready for the road, is not as big as the Street Glide. So I'm working my way up to a Street Glide. But I do like all the Goldwings. But I have considered an Indian and the now defunked Victory which I won't buy now that Polaris dropped. But good luck on finding other bike brands to test ride. I'll be watching you! Till then, ride safely my friend.

Get a Chief or a Springfield. You don't need all the extra stuff on the chieftain, just make it cost more. I love my Chief vintage, been on many long trips with it. The best part is I can take off the windshield for riding around town and it's a lot cooler on hot days.
@BrandonBicasso5 жыл бұрын
The big part for me is the infotainment. I like having the speakers there for music instead of running it through my helmet. Plus, keeps the windnoise out of my ears. Just a personal preference but a solid option instead of the Chieftain.
@fenrizwulf66825 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I don't run music through my helmet either, because I want to be able to hear what's going on around me. I can definitely see a big advantage to the big screen navigation system in the fairing too.
@BrandonBicasso5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that's the idea. I rode with headphones the other day and I wasn't fully comfortable with it. If I had the Sena/Cardio set up it would be more ideal because of being able to turn it off with the unit versus having to touch your phone.

@BrandonBicasso5 жыл бұрын
I had the Bobber at one point. The Scout/Bobber has its place, but I think the only thing you'd miss is the smaller form factor. The Chieftain and other thunder stroke models handle their weight well. I don't think you'd miss it completely.
@fenrizwulf66825 жыл бұрын
I have a Chief vintage. It's a big heavy bike, but it doesn't ride like a big heavy bike. It's nimble and smooth, and handles very well. Rides like a Cadillac and performs and handles like a Corvette. Mine is stock, no performance upgrades, and I'm still impressed with the power it has

Dose 585 cams affect: Raiding modes and rear cylinder deactivation?
@BrandonBicasso5 жыл бұрын
They don't affect the riding modes. You can switch to either as you normally would. The cylinder deactivation is turned off during the dyno, though. They didn't have a detailed reason as to why but since the bike is easier to stall from the new cam profile, might be safer that way. Also, I rode in sport mode.
