March 7th 2014, the bodies of a young couple Britney Cosby and Crystal Jackson are discovered behind a convenient store dumpster, and with very little clue of what happened, the police visit their fathers, who have been both furiously against their relationship. What the detectives don’t know is that Crystal's 5 year old daughter Zaniah, who was hiding in the car at the time of the murder, might have seen it all.

This is my first time seeing a detective emotional rather than controlling what they actually feel in an interview,
@rebel4466
@rebel4466 5 ай бұрын
This can be controlled as well. It's usually done to get someone to snap back, revealing something without thinking. Another use can be if a suspect seems to be weak and deemed likely to respond to pressure. Can also work with military personnel, who are drilled to respond to strong leading characters. Has to be done differently though.
@intelligenceissexy3733

Are you serious? The man is a lunatic. First of all, you are NOT legally obligated to submit to an interrogation. You can never be compelled to serve as a witness against yourself. Nor are you obligated to continue an interrogation once you wish to stop answering questions. You can assert your Fifth Amendment right to remain silent and have the right to legal representation at any time. Secondly, that detective is very unprofessional and has some major anger management issues. If he can't remain professional and keep his cool while interrogating a suspect, then he needs to find a new profession. 16:30 Cops are supposed to be trained to deescalate, NOT escalate the situation. A recent study shows that when police and other authorities make visible attempts to be fair, civilians are intrinsically motivated to cooperate with them. But that clown is a loose cannon and needs to be removed from the force! All law enforcement officials are required to abide by strict professional and moral standards. Law enforcement officers must accept and abide by a high ethical and moral standard that is consistent with the rule of law they are sworn to uphold. This includes consistently employing propriety and discretion in their personal lives that reflects favorably on themselves as professionals and the law enforcement agency that they represent. All law enforcement officers have to abide by a code of ethics and swear to an agency’s statement of values and mission, so that officers have a clear understanding of agency expectations pertaining to conduct and activities while on and off duty.

The fact Ivan also puts flowers on Britney’s grave really moved me. He went from being angry and resentful because of his religion to being able to recognize that he made a mistake in how he treated his daughter and her partner. Hopefully, but he seems remorseless in this video. Whatever justification people come up with, 'religious' or otherwise, it's garbage. There's just no reason to hate someone else for being gay. It does not affect anyone else. It's fear of change + family tradition. It's super childish. These old people were raised to think this way, refused to question anything, and now are making the decision to become even more stubborn in response to feeling any guilt or 'pressure' from the world around them. You can't choose your sexuality, but you can choose not to go out of your way to harass other people. Tl;dr: this variety of religious person has made a choice to double down and hurt those around them, and the Bible is just a handy excuse they're using. Nothing righteous about it.

He loved his daughter very much so I believe, but as a Christian, I understand where he coming from. When we love, we correct, we advise, and we warn, because we want what's best for our children, we want their souls to be saved. The Bible clearly condemns homosexuality. And as much as it pains us as parents, we have a responsibility to speak truth, but we have to do it with grace, mercy and love. I'm sure he meant good for her. It's unfortunate that many people won't understand or want to agree.. May The Lord bless and strengthen her father, and help him heal.. ❤💔

@@ivelissecamacho1989 the Bible does not condemn homosexuality. Very simply put the original Hebrew translations that were consistently credited to that are meant to condemn pedophiles because they were the Hebrew nouns for an adult and child. Do not erase the true love those women felt for each other or the memories of the victims' daughter who was loved by her moms very much. God gave those two women each other and their gift of an intelligent and wise daughter. The real sin was the man who murdered his own child over envy of earthly possessions. They raised a wise young girl who showed her grandparents the wrongs of their hate. That hate pushed those women into the same home as their killer. I pray Zaniyah achieves her goals and can help more people in the future as she studies criminal justice and forensics.

It's so sad how *religion* divides families. Homophobia caused these two loving human beings to be *buried* in separate plots. As parents, it's our charge to love our children *unconditionally* : without caveats. Without stipulations. Without disclaimers. We don't have to *agree or except* our loved-ones' decisions, but we should not *withhold* our love because our children are *not* what *we* want them to be. Rest in peace Brittney and Krystal. 🦋

@@Ms.Brightside77 I get it. He is a Christian religious leader. He has standards, regimented rules, etc., but loving, guiding, nuturing, protecting, and supporting our children is a law of *God AND nature* What kind of god wishes a parent to *reject* their child, to withhold love, emotional, and psychological support from their own flesh and blood? Christianity and homophobia blinded him from seeing how much they loved each other and their daughter. All three were a *family* The same scenario is played out everyday and it's shameful Sis. He didn't support their decisions, but he still laid flowers on the grave of the woman his daughter loved. That's a man who deserves the most respect. He only saw a problem with the relationship and not the person, thats how support works. RIP Crystal and Brittany, its horrible how you left this world and the people in it, your daughter helped bring a close to the atrocity that happened to you, and i hope you stay with her in spirit for the rest of her days. She was only 5 years old when it happened, but that was enough to leave memories she will carry forever to make both live on. I hope she found peace after her mothers death, its one thing when youre grown and lose your parent, but when youre a kid that barely got any time with them, it gets harder to hold on to whats important and let go of the grief. And to anyone whos lost their family members recently, parent, child, cousin, whoever, i hope you can heal from it and live on for them. Its painful, youll feel things that seem like theres no controlling them like sadness and anger, youll question why they were taken from you when you loved them so much, but holding onto them makes it harder for both of you to move on. Just take a breath and talk to them. Tell them about all the things you loved about them, all the things that made you irritated or mad, all the times you made the bond stronger, it feels weird talking to yourself but i promise it helps. And when youre done talking to them, all the tears have fallen and the snot is blown from your nose, take a deep breath, hold it for just a second, and then let all of the grief out with it. It wont work every time, but thats what really helped me after my great gramma passed away, i miss her, and i really wish i would have gotten more time with her 😔

There’s someone in the comments that knew the Preacher and his daughter and family and she said it wasn’t just the gay lifestyle that her dad had issues with, she was “wild” according to the commenter. But who knows if it’s true? 🤷‍♀️ On the other hand, even if it was just the gay lifestyle, her dad regrets that his relationship with her wasn’t what it should’ve been. As Christians it is our responsibility to let our kids know what the Bible says about lifestyles…whether it’s homosexuality or drunkenness…and whether it’s our kids or someone else that we are referring to. It’s literally our job to warn them about actions or lifestyles that may harm us. I’m speaking in general principles. I have a good friend whose son got AIDS from homosexuality back in the 90’s. She had two small boys at home, not much was known about transmission initially, and there was the stigma. So he was placed in a nursing home until he passed. She went every single day to see him, pray with him and love him. She has so much peace about how he passed bc she loved him until the end. But she continues to warn others that God gives us warnings, esp about certain sins, bc sin does hurt us and others eventually.

Knowing she saw her momma & girlfriend be killed breaks my heart, she saw her mommas die & that hurts so much to know she had to see that. Like how can someone kill their own daughter over something like that, how can he live with himself being the reason his baby girl is gone. He not only took his daughter's life but her partner's life because she saw the crime happen, he didn't care that her daughter was in the car or anything, he showed no fuckin remorse which is so wild to me. You took your own daughter & her partner's life IN FRONT OF HER KID & YOU FEEL NO REMORSE!? Like you are disgusting if you not only took their lives but you did it in front of their child, a 5 year old, a child who never should have had to see her mommas die in front of her & not only that, not feeling fuckin remorse for taking not only another family's baby away but a little girl's mothers away. Sorry I just feel extremely unnerved & upset by his demeanor but that he made her have to see that, her mommas wanted to get married in the future & spend their lives together raising her together but he took that away from her & her family.
