I’d buy it for looks. I bought a used Yamaha 20 years ago. Haven’t used it since. Took it out a couple months ago and it’s still in tune with rusty strings and still sounds great. No app needed.

Every time I see one of these Lava videos I think it would be awesome but then I go online and start reading reviews from actual buyers and there are a lot of negative reviews. Among other things, it seems that the QC for all the Lava guitars is still too spotty.

I have a Lava me II, and it sound amazing! And it stay in tune for ages. It can be charged with a regular micro usb, and doesn't spend much energy. I've charged it like 3 times the last 2 years. This was my possitive rewiew ^^
