I've been a mechanic my entire life. Owned two of my own shops have worked on thousands of vehicles. Cars to helicopters, airplanes, boats and motorcycles. I can honestly say I have never ever had to repair any of these vehicles because of a cigarette lighter adapter , with one exception. A blown fuse , which are allways a free replacement. For our customers. I've watched a couple of his videos now and think that he makes things up for videos and Views .This is horrible, whitch-doctor type shade-tree mechanic .

Well is true, you can't see the electromagnetism...you only observe it when visible things move in certain pattern...he said it right...is like the air...and that too can't be seen but only feel it on your/other matter(not dark matter) bodies...that "visible spectrum" is a made up word for something they try to tell us what technology can see...but you can never see what technology sees...and that is good...you don't want to see the energy coming out of you when you get angry...or when a phone transmits back to the tower..it would surely scare you...hence why people think wi-fi is a good technology...and now the 5g(worse)..Peace

Yeah I have and he's 100% right... 99 Camry, 303k miles now... Bought it one year old with 14k on it... Maintain it fairly well but not religiously by the book... Never had one very expensive or hard to perform repair. Most of them I do myself besides things like Timing belt service or new lower control arms because the rubber bushings were shot... Motor and transmission has never had to be apart. Still runs and drives better then some new cars I have driven. Extremely quiet inside, AC blows cold, everything works as it should, only have had to replace blower resistor once to updated resistor $15 from the dealer, 3 radiators I do it myself in 30 - 45 minutes in my driveway, both electric cooling fan motors once and a new set of brushes in the original alternator last year $8 online, 1 hour job in my driveway. Amazing reliable car and quiet inside... Most new cars have too much road noise inside then for me! Even has original exhaust system and muffler!!!

I actually would not be surprised. Basically he is saying that if you shield it with a little tinfoil hat the adapter will be safe. We drive our cars nears stronger "inverter frequency" fields all day long. I am sure these cheap inverters cause trouble. But the details as to why doesn't sound clear enough.

I read that car thieves can copy your codes if nearby with a new copy devise. Then they just use the code to steal your car ! So wrap them in foil and it will slow them down ! Do the same with all credit cards too. A guy scanned our card while we were on line at a store. We got a billed for a Pizza & New pair of Nikees. It was in the big city, we hardly every go there ! Luckily our bank caught it and we did not have to pay ! Those people should be boiled in oil and then horsewhipped. Before prison time, of course ! Sounds like a good deterent to me !

I also svc his girlfriends 96"Honda Civicc LX(it also passes legal emission insp)- Bro Scotty is the real deal auto Tech(not a parts changer)- I found this channell doing tech update info for a 2002 Ford F-150 , I automatically recognized this man as a good/honest/ qualified mechanic, ya"ll pay attention & you will benefit from his hard earned skillset.

I have read so much, well pouty crap from men(Boys) who are unreasonable rude & insulting to Scottie & its clearly because of their own issues like insecurity, lots of mouth with little knowledge, pouty petty jealousy. They just haven't grown up and felt respect from other males. I was taught to look at what I liked in another person and to emulate & aspire, to become knowledgeable and respect the accomplishments of others. But instead of looking at other men with respect for their accomplishments & their hard earned knowledge they are childishly rude & insulting. If they want to be comedians they are just too damn silly to realize this Isnt a comedy channel. Humor in a conversation does not include rude insults Involving the man your speaking to. Comedy & humor are not the same, duh! Sir, it's so refreshing to read the remarks from a confident grown man. I am hopeful your example will give guidance to boys who might get that with years comes knowledge, how to offer respect to another man and mostly how a man speaks of or to another man. @@davidhamilton506 It's Scotty Kilmer. His agitation incites flights of thought. I drive old cars myself, I know all about fixing all the neglected s*** on them. In the bad old days of American cars with cast iron 6's and V-8's, when I got a used car, sometimes it took me a year to fix all the bad work done by previous owners. I even found instances of inarguable mechanic sabotage done to set up more repairs. In today's cars, all you see are the consequences of neglect, sometimes motivated by the understandable unwillingness of the previous owners to pay shop rates for little s*** like drive axles or struts. The problem is, the sellers often want to take only the price of the repair off the book value. If they thought their car was worth so much, why don't they fix and then sell it for full price? Let people have their fun. You don't know half the story.
