What an album. Loved the reaction! You gotta do Via by Volumes, one of the best djent albums to this day. Breakdowns galore. The Spotify version has the solo in Serenity by guitarist Chris Letchford from Scale the Summit removed due to issues with their label, but you’ve gotta check that version out - of my all time favourite djent tracks and the solo is tear jerking!

sick album. the first since Justin's tragic death. it's great that the guys coped with the loss and completed a wonderful album, Justin's contribution to the group was invaluable. RIP bro. sooo... what about REFLECTIONS - THE COLOR CLEAR?

Was waiting for this, one of my favorite bands at the moment. But; I do have one recommendation that you need to discover. The Dillinger Escape Plan. You should either start with “Ire Works” or “One of us is the Killer.” Your brain will melt.
@dravenripley9468 Жыл бұрын
These guys are old enough to be considered one of the ogs of modern metalcore. They inspired a lot of bands. Yet still go under the radar. Im so excited to finally be able to see them live soon.

Now this is the type of deathcore I can see you like (ofc lol), The Contortionist - Exoplanet is absolutely one you should hit some time in the future as well
@ShakinItTwice2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't consider ATB to be deathcore. Deathcore is like Lorna Shore and they are vastly different
@DrewFortune972 жыл бұрын
Also wouldn’t consider them Deathcore? Maybe the vocals but I’d say they’re way too groovy to be considered Deathcore 🫣
@ShakinItTwice2 жыл бұрын
@@DrewFortune97 agreed. Their like djentcore hahaha
@Gravityys2 жыл бұрын
@@ShakinItTwice They're technically much closer to Deathcore than Metalcore or Progressive Metal especially on their earlier releases or when you compare them with some of the older Deathcore bands.
@TundraCH2 жыл бұрын
@@DrewFortune97 it's not entirely deathcore for sure, it's more djenty than other metalcore bands that use djent in their music, like 80% of this is djent and 20% core, compared to say Spiritbox where imo pretty 50/50 split between metalcore and djent. Regardless, The Contortionists Exoplanet is absolutely deathcore (djentcore) and you'll know exactly what I mean when it comes to that 😉

After the Burial has always been so consistent and they never put out anything that makes you go meh in the slightest. Any time you listen to them its like "oh thats an after the burial song!" in the best way possible, not like other bands where they get stale.

You need to give Bilmuri a listen if you’re not aware of them. It’s Johnny Franck’s band who was the clean vocalist of Attack Attack!. Extremely talented, great tunes, heavy rifts with just overall a very fresh, innovative, and unique style. They incorporate techno elements with crazy synths and such. Really nice change of pace. I highly recommend to everyone who is reading this.
