Recently a game came out called "Palworld" and it's sold over 3 million copies in 24 hours. Pokemon fans are upset about it's success and calling it a clone and even going as far to try and boycott it. However, I have seen this exact thing many many MANY times before. So I want to talk about it.

I think that for this video, the game Roblox would be a great example, as there are a ton of minigames which directly copy other products and get popular.

There’s also things in this world that are literal copies of something else, with no attempt to hide it. Take breaking bad for example, great show on its own, hard to replicate, original creative show that’s considered the goat to most people. Awesome right?… well then there’s the Colombian remake that is almost word for word copying breaking bad and it’s story/characters. The show is called Metástasis and has very few differences to breaking bad. They use the same title font, character designs with minor changes to their names, same basic story outline, and so on and so fourth. Now to be honest I don’t know if the original creators of breaking bad gave blessing for this or have any involvement in it but it’s just surreal because it’s like looking at an alternate dimension of breaking bad. It’s just funny to see because you know what comes next and it’s just kinda cheap and cheesy compared to the original breaking bad. Idk this is just what I first thought of after watching the video. Keep it real buddy, love the content you make man!!

Speaking of derivatives, I find Lords of the Fallen more of a ripoff of Dark Souls than Palworld is to Pokémon. Palworld reiterates but adds something different to the style of gameplay. Lords of the Fallen is comical in how uninspired it is from the souls game.

I really think when you take something that already exists but put your own creativity in that project I don’t really see how your stealing if your creating something that already exists but make it better and newer. Fortnite did a really good job with that same battle bit even stumble guys did even better then fall guys but if your just not putting any creativity in a game or project and like you said they are Stealing the original person work and joke just to make a quick buck for stealing content just like the Mr beast clones now idk if they ask mr beast if they can make a similar video from him but probably not but there basically copying him and what he do and not putting any creativity in there videos but just a BIG ripoff. Sorry if I went all out with that going from video games to KZbin but good video I might copy you next (Just Kidding but really good video tho)
