Best answers to try saving the run are probably: - Give yourself a ton of Shaman Bone Blade for the weirdest battle royal. - Unlock all lanterns (if possible), proceed to the next part of the game and come back later. - Randomize it all again and DM the randomizer creators to see if they can add a setting so that these rat bastard shadows can't end up like this again.

It's a randomizer, so this fight is probably randomized to be endgame. You have the summons, you can do Cainhurst and see if it's easier. DLC maybe too? And Chicage is skill/tinge weapon, transformed is bloodtinge. It gets boosted by physical and blood gems

The chikage, the blade form is skill stat based and the bloody form is bloodtinge stat based. If you do go bloodtinge build then try and get bloodletter which would make a good alternative to Chikage. You already have the best bloodtinge build gun with Evelynn. You should have seen this fight for Maximillion Dood when he did his randomizer run. lol Pthumarian Queen, watchdog, and Amygdalla. He had to cheese the fight to beat it. xD

Use the shaman’s bone blade and try to get them to fight each other, would be really fun. If not possible there is a way to glitch the AI of the shadows, I don’t know if it will work but it’s worth a try

There are multiple ways to save the run. The 2 options I recommend are checking to see if the Randomizer has an "easy mode" setting for certain boss fights. I remember watching HeyZeusHeresToast (apologies if I butchered his name) had a setting on for this fight and one other that only made it so 1 boss only showed up and replaced the additional bosses and enemies in the arena with Babies (the birthed one from one of the side quests.) The other option for a fight like this, right click your game in the emulator menu and access the cheats menu while the game is running and temporarily turn on Instant Kill and Infinite Health to bypass this hurdle. Love the series and don't want it to be over 😢

there's an AI bug that freezes them in place that's possible on vanilla shadows from entering the arena while out of bounds. I believe there may be an option as well to have two of the shadows randomized to celestial childs (small larvae enemies in Upper Catthedral)

i think the reason all the adds are spawning in the shadows arena is because they're replacing the giant snakes that spawn in phase 2? and aren't triggering correctly for some reason. either way, i don't think anyone would mind if you re-randomized or used the shadows aggro skip

Myth Killing Iosefka before the blood moon is out will not provided any item, you need to kill Rom first and them go back to the clinic to get one Umbilical Cord from her. As well when you start hear her talk to you, you need to go back to avoid the fight. She will normally has a small sidequest when you sent other NPCs to the clinic after meeting her.

Well if you really wanna kill them the legit way, set a goal to get ludwig or laurence halfway down and hope that you'll trigger second phase. If that works, you might want to get laurence halfway first to get him to small fucca mode which means he cant jump you anymore like he would normally, then finish off ludwig, finish off laurence and then the wet bitch. There is this "glitch" in the main game, where you have to stand at a specific point at the fog wall and after entering it, you backstep a few times. It results in the shadows Ai not working, because of not triggering a certain flag. So maybe it still works in the randomize and you could hypothetically kill them without technically cheating. It doesn't make a big difference though.

@@RomanGuro Well. It's normal enemies, so the question is, what's worse. Three bosses in a tight space or one boss, with a bunch of normal enemies in a bigger space. There's also the question if they even work properly. Rom spawns them in, so that could fuck up their Ai. Though in the shadows bossfight the snakes were also replaced with enemies. But yeah, Rom could potentially go very wrong as well and there is no skip for them as far as I know.

cant you skip this boss entirely? i know in base game it's needed for progression but ive seen a bunch of speed runners use a skip to get in behind the boss and kill it while its inactive. ive also seen another skip where you go out of bounds in the forest and it can despawn it.
