In an interview with Alex (of Bricklink), he made it clear that you cannot have a Bricklink Program entry that has 'the sidewalk treatment and a 32x32 baseplate, the technic pins connection AND the coming apart feature'. You can still make a building that comes apart, but is for instance made to stand on a brick build hill with some interesting features - just to give one example. It's 'the whole package' of those things I listed that you can't have anymore - the features on their own are fine if they aren't used in combination with one another. So; a set like this would still be completely fine to be entered into the Bricklink program, going forward.

7:00 The "no Modulars" does NOT mean that buildings are not allowed to open like a modular with removable floors. It explicitly - and that has been clarified by Alex Kastelic in the "BDP Series 6 Webinar" @around 15 minutes in - refers to the design language of the Modulars. 32x32 baseplate with the sidewalk and typical lamps, the row house style with pin connectors in the correct places to connect to other Modulars etc. The Bowling Alley or Brick Cross Station would probably be hard sell under those rules. The Engine Shed, General Store and the here presented Habormaster's Office very likely not.

I really like this one and am slightly on the fence due to the similarity of architectural design with the Old Fishing Shop and difficulty of integration with current city set up due to the implied water levels. I'll probably still get it though along with the little camper.

I really appreciated your earlier, honest review on Ominous Isle from BrickLink Series 2. It helped me decide it was not a good fit for my collection. And your comment on it's "delicacy" were proven true by its (unfortunate) current condition. 🤕 That said, it felt a little odd to hear how that set became one of your favorites and how it led to the excitement for Harbormaster. Regardless, Harbormaster does look brilliant and honestly, a "wave" or two above Ominous Isle. And I also wish Harbormaster would allow the building to readily lift off to view the underneath sea life and creatures. Thank you for the review.

Pro tip to anyone looking to order ne of these sets. buy a Lego gift card and use that to crowdfund the set. that way you don't need to worry about having the correct amount of money in your account when you do eventually get charged.

Interestingly, this harbour set being a little "rickety" kinda fits pretty well, as in real life you'd expect it to be like that. 😅

It's a pretty interesting Series, this one. All sets are very different from each other and are all very appealing, but I have a feeling that Lost City is going to be the one that's left behind.. It's a kind of Castly design, so it's the exception in standing out for being different, it's a big build, costs pretty much the same as the Stronghold, has only two figures, and, personally, I don't understand the choice to use so many green tiles for the roof, so that you can't understand anymore if those are supposed to be tiles full of moss and other vegetation on top or just green tiles. And blue tiles. Just because. Anyway, I can see myself buying anyone of the other four, but probably leaning towards the Forest Stronghold.

I really wish I had more of a budget for these. Love this one, but not sure I can get 4-5 of them. The 2 castles area already a lot! This would go really well with my "city explorer" collection. And I do love sea sides and boats. Grrrr! So many fancy things to get, so little space to put them or money to get them xD !

I'm absolutely terrified the vampire castle will run out within a few microseconds, and I'll miss out... 😰 Seriously, though, I could see the internet collapsing when its pre-order opens! 😅 This harbour one.. not a theme that greatly interests me.. but, hmm, now seeing this.. there is a spark of interest...

Do you get Lego VIP Points if you Order it?
@LegoLifter983 ай бұрын
The great thing about these kind of sets is there are ebay sellers with a large lego piece collection who can part them out. I recently ordered the winter chalet for a lot less than sellers selling the "actual" set and the only thing is I had to wait 2 weeks to get it (seller parts it out once they get an order). That being said, im buying two of the art of chocolates and this harbor set (are you limited to 2 sets per design, or 2 sets total?).
@michaelgorman8373 ай бұрын
You can purchase two of each set. You're not charged until they're dispatched, in about 6 months time

@michaelgorman837 I did order 2 of both, and thought the same that you aren't charged until the ship. However my CC shows the charge, so I don't know if it is a temporary hold to ensure I am using legit funds or being charged now. Either way, I'm glad I got 2 of each!!

Hi! The pier and the building are great looking, but under them I can find a slight logical error. Corals and scube-divers generally are in the water not on the surface , so are fishes and sharks. The seabed is generally sand and rocks.... This way for me there is a mixture of seabed and water surface.....

Six days and nineteen hours to go! I was planning on getting Lost City to put it with Rivendell, I thought they would go well together. Then they showed photos of the back, and it is not...well its just Meh. Where I had planned for it showed the rear, and now I do not know what to do because no one wants to see that backside so it will not fit, which is a real pity. This Harbour Office set though is a certain purchase, if it has a smidge of Modular then I want it. I am still not happy with all this Lego interference in Bricklink, Lego needs to keep its rules, and its nose far from Bricklink and just leave it to THE PEOPLES VOTE. Let the PEOPLE choose what the people wish to buy. Lego can make the bricks...and thats all, there is no need for any Lego rules, leave it to the peoples vote.
