Anyone know the difference between the standard and XL?
@toddjenest32123 ай бұрын
GL4 Pro Standard This is our preferred budget option for an all-in-one unit. White light, green laser, IR illuminator, and IR laser, it’s everything you need in as small of a form factor as possible. GL4 Pro IRH The IRH variant is an IR only model. Removing the white light extends the throw of the IR illuminator and tightens the beam. This variation still includes the IR laser and green laser. GL4 Pro XL The XL has an improved laser for additional effectiveness at distance while not compromising on any other features of the unit.

Do you know of one for around $100 mark? Just wanting a laser sight/light combo to throw on my CP33 to do some point shooting.

CNC airsoft IR lasers are not bad for around $100-ish.

If youre making a video about lasers related to airsoft you should mention that you shouldnt point them at people or use them in games. These things are extremely dangerous and can make someone vision impaired in fractions of a second. You wouldnt play airsoft without safety glasses and since there is no way to protect yourself from multiple wavelengths of lasers there is no way to safely use them
@PeiluGan6 ай бұрын
For the Rovyon, the IR is actually eye-safe. It's sub-0.7mw. Up in Canada, all events that allow the use of lasers require them to be classified as eye-safe either through the model or documentation. This is one of the few allowed to be used at events.

@@PeiluGan The visibile one, which most kids are gonna use, isnt tho. its about 4,7mW at a wavelength which causes retinal burns and therefore causes permanent eye damage in 10-100ms of exposure time depending on distance. With most peoples reaction time being around 200ms they will not blink fast enough to prevent damage. I think that lasers are really cool and they have their use cases, but not in normal airsoft

My end use is real steel but for airsoft I agree with you. That’s a good point

@@Stayzr6honestly any WADSN/sotac unit will be good for that price range. Just don’t try it on real steel and you should be good

dunno, considering real lasers are running into thousands of dollars range, this is pretty budget
