People are ignorant. We had neighbors that had one, Mr. McBambles. Same thing anytime they walked him in town. Idiots screaming it’s a pit bull. We had English Bulldogs so I get it. Pay no mind. This breed certainly has some aggression problems. Some is due to the breeding and a lot more due to the sort of people which own these dogs. You can easily distinguish the aggressive ones from the normal ones by taking a look at the owners and not the dog.

People that think it is a dangerous dog have never met one before. Every one I have ever met or seen have been happy and friendly. These dogs, and the minis, are natural cuddle bugs and love people. They have to be touching you and have personality for days. The laying on their belly with back legs extended, army crawling, hucklebutting, trancing and other weird stuff just make them even more lovable. I'm already thinking about getting another one.

I have seen the male Bull Terriers that way.. Super Agressive.. At a dog show we showed at w our Collie. The Male Bull Terrier wanted to fight every dog in the room.. and there were about 150 dogs there. I really like the Bull Terrier breed but there is no way I'd keep a dog as agressive as the one I saw. The owner of the Bull T at that dog show was a normal enthusiast .. Not a Ghetto protection purveyor. I've seen many Chow Chows with severe territory issues.. I'd never have one.

I've seen mutiple Bull Terriers completely agressive and unsocialized. Experience makes you attentive.. watchful.. warry.. that's where the word "experience" comes from... and there is no harm in that. Only a fool needs to think every dog will have the disposition of Lassie.. that's just not honest.

When that day comes (hopefully not for a long time)for Bane to cross the rainbow bridge, it is my belief that he will send a new dog to serve in his stead. Incredibly beautiful dog. Reminds me of my friends bully dog. Unfortunately he passed away, about 3 years ago but I used to look after him, while his family was away on holiday and he was such a good boy. I never had any feeling, good or bad about these dogs but after I met my friends, I instantly loved them. I remember when I bought him a simple doggy Christmas stocking and he went crazy with excitement. First running around the coffee table and followed up by spinning in circles. I wish us humans, was so easily pleased.

English bull terriers are amazing dogs, extremely intelligent, if under socialised they can become dog aggressive and being such a capable and determined fighter that can be a problem. Ive had 3 dogs from pup to end of life but never a english bull. I have had experience with 3 english bulls and found them amazing, goofy, intelligent, fearless, strong willed and great judges of character. A great family dog.

Spot on, but ONLY if the bullterrier get as much love as you can give him. Sadly there a lot idiots outside, giving them more hate than love. Then you have a dangerous dog. Mine was 6,5 years with bad owners or animal shelter before I adopted him. He still loves to be with humans all the time, sleeping in bed..., but he's nearly unable to interact with other dogs without aggression, because he seeing in every dog a kind of danger and NEVER try to do something on purpose that can possibly give him pain. He bites immediately. Cleaning his ears, for example, is impossible. Accidentally stepping on his paw is "no problem", thats not on purpose. High intelligent dogs!
