The single worst purchase I've ever made - it hasn't been stolen or burst into flames [yet] but our insurance premiums in Illinois are more reflective of a luxury sedan than an economy vehicle. Someone please start up a second class action lawsuit to address both Hyundai/KIA negligence on behalf of ALL owners irregardless of theft, fire, etc. Owner insurance premiums totaling nearly twice the cost they should be isn't fair. I mean.. Can you tell us what your charger uptime is like right now? I think you're fighting against 96%+ uptime on the superchargers. And even EA seems to be getting better. I'm personally definitely looking forward to having reliable, interconnected networks across the country providing options to drivers. Probably can't tell us, but wondering if and when there will be a switch to NACS. Also wondering if anyone will bite the bullet and create a unified app experience that can combine station information (charger status, open stalls, cars en route, etc) from multiple brands into one, to rival the SC network. Shell, I imagine, isn't planning extreme solo expansion and might well benefit from just such a thing.

Lounge mode makes sense in an electric vehicle because you will sometimes be waiting at a charger for 15 to 30 minutes or whatever.

I'd probably never use the third row, unless I stuck a couple of 5 years old back there. It works for me.

When I saw the door handles I thought what would happen if your battery totally died to where you could not unlock it and you had something important in it. If you are not home or near a charger then it could be an issue. Of course I at most need cruise control. This is for others but alas not me. Oh well. Good review though.

I really wish there was an option to get the smaller battery in the higher trims. Other reviews have noted you are penalized in charging rate and speed for going with the larger pack. You are NOT getting those 10-80% stats even in the best of conditions, and it will charge slower than their true 400V architecture like in the Ionic 5.

I'm sorry did you say microtransactions in the $60,000 suv? KIA can go fork themselves.

Can y'all please do a comparison of various devices like the sponsored product here? (wireless Car-play/AA adapters, including ones that are basically a tablet that output via same...). I'd like to know their common issues, challenges, and things to look out for
