Crazy to not even mention Karakas in pack 3 pick 1. With how many creatures are legends now it often just shuts down your opponent. It’s one of the best cards in cube imo.

At 42:10, I think the play is 2 damage to the figure and then 2 damage to your own anger to put it in the bin lol. Get in with the hasty 3/3 double strike and hope to draw a land for the overlord next turn. Great content glad to see you playing more cube!

Mightstone Weakstone mana can only cast artifacts, but the mana can be used for anything else, like activated abilities.

53:00 pyro post combat does play around them drawing removal off the esper sentinel trigger, or a plow effect since at 13 life you would’ve survived their attack for 10 even without a blocker

I don't think youve ever passed it where I wouldn't have also passed it, but since you've missed a lot of cube seasons it feels worth mentioning that Nadu is crazy good in cube. There are a ton of really simple combos with it that are extremely resilient. Just thought it was worth mentioning.😊

Yeah, Anger is an interesting cube card. I tend to draft it with the thought of "what creatures do I have get waaaaay too strong with haste" rather than "how can I pitch this into my graveyard." 4 mana for a creature that will inevitably give everything you have haste is just nuts

You can hide a Mox from discard by playing the Mox. That would have hidden Dak from discard and bluffed a Spell Pierce style card.

I think they chose that particular art for anger because it's the most intimidating. Once it comes down it's so scary its an auto concede.

I feel that Legion Extruder is better then you think, for example at 59:14 you can attack with the golem for free beacause you can always sacrifice it to make a fresh one, giving it "vigilance", and also as you say the turn prior if they target a golem with a removal you can fizzle the removal and still have a golem, and at the worst if you don't draw other artifact it's still 2 dmg to anything on etb

Lurris the angel that turns off colors when reanimated i dont see any resemblance of what makes vintage unique and all your brews have never lived up to the old content because the cards are so slighted against traditional power besides the most unsatisfying no setup or deck building prowess ie. Channel emercruel which is strong and should exist but should be something bad players fight for along with reanimate but all the strong interaction is missing wheres white remand aether gust. Craterhoove behemoth, land equilibrium, flusterstorm, metalworker, blightsteel colossus, give me infect with scale up that could also be played as a win con for opposition wheres wish earthcraft, is tolarian academy in the cube anymore? Why does dak faiden look mediocre now that the power is gone, at least put in word of command which is 2 mana mind slaver, speaking of another tinker win condition missing where did that go? Transmute artifact? Time vault? Candelabra of Tawnos? Mana doublers? Library of Alexandria? Tabernacle? Oko? Temporal mastery nexus of fate? Vorinclex is at least somewhat vintage payoff for big dumb timmy card, vindillion clique, empherate + acidic slime, gifts ungiven, splinter twin, cat combo, chord of calling heliod combos, smokestack, bauble? Chalice of the void? Blood moon effects? Orcish bowmasters, true name nemesis, crucible of worlds? Plow under? Isocronic scepter seems obvious especially with key, show of strength? Copy artifact, i hope the one ring is in the set still, armogaden? Terminus? Entreat the angels, reforge soul could've been cool with top, etc. There were so many insane things that vintage cube should be and this is not strong enough imo

I hate the modern day mtg this shit feels so wrong and foreign to watch hearing something like blue mox is worse than white sounds stupid and should always be wrong idk why vintage cube isnt just the strongest cards not just commander cards with power 9 i hate everything about it and it goes against everything vintage cube should be playing only the best cards not the fun cards commander cube is already a thing modern cube can lower the power level where you can justify these worse cards i just dont get it. Every deck should be dc thoracle counter spells veil of summer underworld breach channel flash etc. This doesn't give that esthetic and it really disappoints me that vintage cube is this uncompetitive. Wheres the turn 1 you cant play lands turn 1 storm combo turn 1 reanimator wins 0 mana counters veil tutors etc. Over these stupid jank commander casual lame do nothing cards with 5 lines of text that i could give 2 shits about where's the power in vintage?
