Definitely truth here. I started one week ago. Only two sales so far. My first ever sale was to another re-seller. I bought a vintage hitachi 8-track deck at a garage sale for $10. Sold it to a reseller for $60. I looked at his shop and he sells them “refurbished” for $150-$300 depending on the model.

Started two months ago , I'm in it for the long haul and not to worried about sales now. I can see there is so much to learn and estimate six months to one year to get a decent store up and running. So far I've been fortunate to find some great items and have stumbled onto some good sourcing opportunities. Its seems as though once i made the decision to get into reselling the doors have swung wide open. Thanks for sharing your knowledge !

Funny story, There is a very well known "niche" seller/youtuber who on camera at a flea market refused to pick up a Dr Dre Beats wireless speaker to flip for $150, because it wasn't her "Niche", not what she was into. Now granted, she's been doing this over 30 years and is Very good at what she does, but I thought about you, WHY would you walk away from Free Money? Jake, loved this video, so helpful! Is it a good/bad idea to buy remotes if you can;t test them & don't know anything about them? I just recently picked up, what I thought was a good Blue Tooth Panasonic 4-phones Set in Box, untested, & the guy who bought it was annoyed because the phones didn't match the numbers on the box. Hello. I like your videos and wanted to get a clarification on your transparency video, which I recommend people who read this watch. You nicely broke down your costs and per-sale profit. But the one thing that it was lacking or that I missed was your average monthly take-home profit - The amount you put in your personal bank account each month from EBay to pay your bills. It would really help us to know with 1500 to 2000 products in your inventory, how many sales a day you make and thus what your monthly take-home profit is. Thanks.
