This Company Is Already Producing Hundreds Of eVTOLs - EHang At DriftX

What they did was sneaky. They got a type certificate for the EH216-S Passenger-Carrying UAV System but as an unmanned drone then got a production certificate to make manned evtol then got a airworthiness certificate for the same craft to carry passangers. An airworthiness certificate doesn't require any tests or demonstrations of flight just the ability to try and produce one and test it. They wouldn't need that if it was already type certified for people. All the big usa evtols have an air worthiness certificate and can't really prove anything either. A type certificate is the end goal. They can use that combination of certificates on the same craft for deception and news releases as long as the wording is careful. It has fooled some media outlets already. If they have a type certificate for manned flights then they could charge money for them and I doubt anyone can buy a ticket. They will not sell them as manned evtols in china only unmanned.

Whenever anyone gives you range or duration numbers, ask them under what load? Ask them it it has ever done it and is there evidence available to view.

Did you witness a flight? Why isn't there a customer review or a video of a person getting in one then taking off then staying up for a few minutes then landing without edits every secong? Why no customer videos or reviews? Find some evidence of their load and range claims. Wouldn't a tourist or customer record and post an entire flight. I don't think they are legitimate. Tourists record everything.

I think they can fly 5 minutes max without the weight of a passenger.
