Where was Captain Rex? Temuera Morrison aged well for this role! He could (and can) play some old clones. We could see Rex, Wolffe and Gregor. We can still see them in season 2, but seeing them immedieately was of course preferable.

My theory is that Zeb's appearance in Mandalorian was supposed to connect him to the Rangers of the New Republic show since he was depicted as the Delphi Rangers drill master, but since that show was cancelled, we were robbed of him main live action appearance

The last thing I would think zeb would be doing is training pilots. I can only think of a few times he flew in rebels. He's more of a soldier than a pilot.

No it'd be better if he were practical. I know he was an animated character in the cartoon but he would be well served if he were a tall guy in a costume like Chewbacca. That said, it would be hard to give him action scenes but Chewie managed and that was 1977

Zeb was probably on a different side if the galaxy. Add in noone told Hera Ezra was back. Hence that scene. Although travel to the other galaxy was obviously possible communication without magic was not.

I think the name of the show is called Ahsoka. Ahsoka was in Rebels but her story didn’t start with Rebels so it’s fine for the show to not be 100% Rebels focused.

What confused me is why Ezra would steal a trooper's armor to escape, then not take it off before greeting allies who are sworn enemies of the empire and liable to shoot him for wearing said armor. It's completely stupid. It's not like he escaped the star destroyer, turned a corner, and was at the Republic base. He had plenty of time to change out of the armor. It's like he wanted to get shot. WTF.

Wasn't confusing at all. What WOULD be confusing is if they were all still together after all this time, now that the Empire is beaten and they have a new Republic to create, train, and defend. Frankly the fact that they all went their separate ways for one reason or another is the most likely outcome.

I dunno how I felt about this ending. Feels like everything ia now back to square one from the beginning of the series… but worse. Ezra was stuck on Peridea but is now back in the SWG while Sabine, Ahsoka and Huyang were in the SWG but are now on Peridea. It seems like we’ve swapped a great Jedi, a low tier Jedi (yeah I said it) and a centuries old droid for a good Jedi and Thrawn. Oh and Shin and Skoll are also stuck on Peridea but not as allies. No idea where they’re going to take this! Is it just going to become its own separate universe where they can piss about with the lore like they often do with Marvel and DC, perhaps?

fans are too whiny about everything. First things first there is a motive why the producer dont throw everything they have in a new series, and it is because they dont want to invest everything into a thing they dont know will flop or not. so of course we will have Ahsoka and Sabine stranded on the planet, so now the series have been a HUGE success and earned its fair share, they cna invest in showing what the planet is really about. of course Zeb will nod appear in Season one, he is the good news for season 2!. is they had introduced Hera, Ahsoka, Ezra, Sabine, Zeb, Force Ghost Kanan, Force ghost Anakin, Leia CGI, Chopper... THEN WHAT would be the Hype for Season 2? Nothing. So If you're a fan and wanted Zeb now and a good season 2 too, you don't know what you want

Now i get it! Because i never saw Rebels I hated this Ahsoka series! Sorry if i stepped on your feet,but I'm 66 and have followed Star wars since the beginning and have 200 + books. This was all new to me except Thrawn. The acting was terrible,I can't figure out when it was possible for Aniken to have a padawan,and didn't know who was who. I guess i got disconnected years ago when the movies had Leia and Han only having 1 son and named Ben to boot! I need season 2 of Boba Fett and the next season of the Mandolorian! 😊😊😊

Ahsoka herself was extensively in the clone wars tv show and one would argue more of a side character on the rebels show. That clone wars show showcased her being anakins padawan

I would even be fine if thrawn survived with an injury and ezra didn’t, because atleast then ezra died with that sacrifice, but no, we just had to bring BOTH of them back in the dumbest possible way, literally just a remix of “somehow palpatine survived”
