Yeah Leon Vs Usman was definitely better than the Max KO. Max didn’t need the KO as he was dominating. As you mentioned, Leon was getting schooled and needed a miracle. At that moment, Usman was in a position to become the greatest Welterweight of all time, having won FIFTEEN in a row in the UFC. Leon’s head kick changed the entire trajectory of Usman’s career.

Just a clarification on what Firaz said about Dempsey. Dempsey claimed that the pinky was perfectly aligned in a fist and marked the Powerline of a punch.. He, however, acknowledged that it is the most fragile knuckle/finger and therefore said that punches should be landed with three knuckles (pinky, ring, major) and that you should "aim" your punches with your ring knuckle.

My tier list:: McGregor - Aldo Masvidal over Askren (literally over Askren... ... ) Buckley double-head kick to other guy Last, but not least, you can fill it with one, it could be Francis - Stipe, or Overim, Ilia - Volkanovski for the meaning, Usman to Masvidal (1st time 1st guy to ever ko Masvidal) or Jon Jones over DC for the caliber, and Amanda Nunes dropping everybody has some good ones🍻🍻✨✨

I haven't watched Firas' take, however.. the evidence as it stands... the body of work Gaethje has and the fashion he's finished his fights in... combined with the body of work Blessed has accomplished.. for them to both consciously bang for the last 10 seconds and for Max to do what no one has done before up a weight class from where he reigned as a dominant champ. And in the final second.... for the BMF.. hard to argue against it. Usman v Masvidal was cold bc Usman just derailed Masvidal's hype train.. Edwards vs Usman as well for obvious reasons... and these are all emphatic knockouts... Max for the win 🏆.. he was too intense to be denied after he put on a masterclass.. he put a stamp on it!!

I feel like we should never forget to mention Pete Sell vs Scott Smith in these types on conversations. They also made history on tuf 4 finale. as an entertaining show, maybe not the most technical or high profile fighters, but still. Amazing ko. Smith almost dying from a bodyshot then swings a perfectly timed hail Mary shot straight to Sell's jaw. 😮😮😮 Also... What to say of Bisping vs Dan Henderson when he left him for dead in there. The commentary timing the KO perfectly, going on to headkick the arguable welterweight GOAT and P4P best fighter into another world in the last minute of a title fight. Then his post fight interview just topped this off perfectly. “P4P HEADSHOT DEAD”

This was the greatest KO in mma history. There have been more flashy knockouts for sure, but nothing compares to this one..Holloway was the underdog, was dominating the fight and could have easily coasted to a decision, the last 10 seconds he throws all caution to the wind and go blow for blow with one of the most dangerous strikers in the division. Max gets the KO with one second left, leaving everyone speechless. The stakes, the moment, the timing, being an underdog, all exhibited in one moment which adds up to the greatest KO in mma history.

I have to agree with Firaz. This KO was insane and 100% one of the greatest ever, but Conor vs Aldo was better. The build up to that fight was insane. World tour, all the trash talk and promos. Everyone was talking about this fight, McGregor was just starting to become a major international superstar. So many people doubted Conor and many also believed he was gonna get it done. Aldo was the p4p number 1 fighter in the world and Conor knocked him out cold in just 13 seconds. That was the most shocking moment in UFC history. I know this was unbelievable, but if you were there almost 9 years ago you know what I’m talking about. And it’s not just the build up and the KO but the aftermath as well. Without this KO Conor wouldn’t have become the start he is today and the UFC would probably never have become as succsessful as it is now.

What’s crazy about this is this isn’t the first time he’s almost had this happen. Everyone remembers the first time he did it, but he did it against Arnold Allen as well, in a fight he was up in but was super close and could have come down to a single round, and he drops Allen bad literally right at the end but Allen tanked it and recovered but if he’d have slept Allen cold there this would be the second time he’s had like this immortalized last minute stand in the middle and bang ko

Rogan had the hots for Rhonda, that’s all. He made himself look like an idiot. She was never that good. There was no competition then. As soon as she fought a girl her size that could fight she got beat half to death. And I’m sure she has nightmares about Nunes. If she can remember it..

I don't think it's very impressive to knock somebody out after their nose got shattered and you dare them to stand in the middle with you and swing for the fences like cavemen. Takes relatively little skill compared to knockouts like Topuria against Volk or Pereira against Hill.

Peoples co main -2 eye pokes in each eye Co main -boring Main -reffere interference plus a foot stepper Mma is really the easiest sport to become champion in ask, BROCK, PERRERA, JIRI, HILL, even back then 😂

Hendo vs Bisbing was my favorite KO ever but the Max vs Gaetje one is a very close second. There was so much trash talk on Bisbings part so the Justice served just edges it out

Love you dude... but putting the Jorge knockout on this list is ridiculous. The entire world knows askren sucks on his feet. And he only came in the ufc after he was past his prime. Jorge is a journeyman at best. It was luck. Max vs gaethje and pereira vs hill are tied for 3rd.

Regardless of what anyone thinks about Askren he beat a former ufc champion in Robbie Lawler. The knockout is on the list because it was so unexpected. Jorge had us all thinking he was gonna start slow and then…boom !

BMF title is fantastic. Use it sparingly, let it carry some weight and don’t go the McBMF title and it will stay that way. And yes, to me it was the greatest KO in history. Absolutely amazing, Babe Ruth calling his shot level of legend.

I disagree. The "hold on, let me finish this real quick" gesture from Pereira to Herb Dean was such a badass move. Max is up there for sure.

There’s no way Leon Edwards doesn’t make this list! The last minute drama, the kick itself, the octagon interview, the fact he has gone on to back it up so it wasn’t just “lucky” that’s gotta be top 3 in any list let alone top 5

For me Justin is the winner .I don’t care what people say but Justin kept going with a broken nose two dirty deep eye pokes been rocked and at the end he stood there and traded punches until the very last second .And that KO was just the result of cumulative damage. Hate me .
