I have a real life love is blind story to tell: I met my boyfriend online in a DnD group. We played over voice chat with 3 other people for like half a year. While talking after sessions we realized we had a lot in common and started talking daily over voice chat. We both had a lot of free time at the time so for like 2 weeks we texted constant from waking up to going to bed and had daily calls. Then one night I had the courage to tell him that I was falling in love even though I've never seen him before. He told me he felt the same. He lived 500 km away from me at the time. We exchanged a few selfies and videochatted once. I decided to visit him. We met for the first time and totally hit it off in person, too. When I had to go back home I realized that I found my person and couldn't live without him. Within 2 months I had gotten a job where he lived, moved there. We're currently renovating a house and planning on getting married and having a family. This was a relationship speedrun like we both never had before. But we did have a lot of free time in the beginning that allowed us to get to know each other a lot faster. I've been in very long term relationships before but they never felt that stable.

Hey Leo, jeweler here! On the “permanent bracelet” thing, while it is “welded” on technically, it’s extremely easy to remove. The chain used is both extremely thin and made of gold which is a pretty soft metal, so it can be easily snipped off yourself by a household pair of scissors! Cutting it off won’t even ruin the bracelet, as it’s super simple and inexpensive to add a clasp to a chain, even if you choose to go the diy hobby store way before having a real gold clasp put on by a jeweler. The “permanent” part is like 95% gimmick and 5% no clasp aesthetic haha. Thankfully they’re no where near as restrictive and handcuff-esque as they sound: no metalsmith appointment for removal required! :)

Some of the more cheapo/scammy places don’t use real gold and instead use a gold-looking metal that will corrode with water & time, drastically decreasing life span. This applies to the type of solder used as well; even if the bracelet is real gold, if the solder is made of a cheap & easily corroded metal you’ll have the same problem. And speaking of solder, the person who puts the bracelet on you may not be well trained and/or skilled at soldering, and a bad solder job will snap even faster and more easily than a glue! Also depends on how much your activities involve working heavily with that wrist, like if it’s frequently being rubbed in a certain spot or snagged/tugged. Or if the metal used actually is really gold, but is either tempered to be extra soft or is too high of a karat to withstand normal daily wear and tear, that will also make it not last very long. All that being said, if you get a true gold one, in 14k or 18k, done with gold solder, applied by someone who knows how to solder well, and don’t work or have a hobby that frequently roughly rubs or pulls on your bracelet…it should last you several years as long as you take care of it well.

I actually teared up when watching the show when Nancy’s mom was talking to the brother. You can see her pain and know Nancy’s is probably 10, 20 times that. I wish I had more of Nancy as cool as a cucumber quality because I would’ve gone off on Bartise since the vacation. I do think she should articulate/stand up for herself more. But I’m glad she chose to be with herself in the end. I don’t think it will be hard now for her to find someone worth her time, she’s a pretty and easy going yet go getting girl with her own business. Also I think Bartise is attracted to people that look like his sister 😂

I've met so many guys like Bartise. Usually on the shorter side, plain average, using a lot too much styling gel yet they see themselves as "attention-getters" and believe that their amazing looks are key to anything they do or achieve in life. At the same time, other people fail to even recognize them as attractive of good-looking. Bartise my boy, you're a 6/10 on a good day. Maybe that shouldn't matter too much, but by seeing Raven as your equivalent in terms of looks you're just asking for it.

Interesting hearing your perspective on Bartise and Nancy. I personally think he spent most of the season stringing her along because he didn’t have the balls to tell he wasn’t physically attracted to her and it wouldn’t work. Towards the end of the season I completely doubted whether he even liked her and found everything he said to her to be so fake. The fact that he was kissing some other girl the day after the failed wedding is proof enough for me. I don’t feel too sorry for Nancy though because all the signs were in her face. If my partner told me he wasn’t physically attracted to me, I’m not sticking around for the day he finds someone he connects with on both an emotional and physical level. She came off as a bit desperate and weak in the knees for me.

Bartise legitimately took almost every conversation with Nancy as an opportunity to find an out. Once, I started talking to a man from a dating site. We chatted for about two weeks before meeting. I was super attracted to him. Well, once we met, I realized that our dynamic wasn’t the same as online. Also, he smoked and I did not know. I’m super sensitive to cigarette smoke and he smelled like a box of cigarettes. He also didn’t look like his pictures as in they were maybe 10 years old. That last part didn’t matter to me too much but that plus everything else made me realize our connection was only strong online. This happens so much, just not always to this extreme. Men settle with a women that they don't love, don't really want, but allow that woman to give to them and be open to their charm and maybe even falling in love with them. I was in a similar situation 4 years ago, broke things off, completely gave up on the idea that I will ever feel anything again because I was so emotionally burnt out, and now i'm in the best relationship of my life and i've never been happier in life. Recently, there was pt with a forever bracelet, broke their arm falling off a curb drunk and had a radial fracture. Went to go splint, and I'm explain what the fiberglass splint going to look like and the process. They let out a gasp when I told them unfortunately the bracelet would have to be removed because the casting material has to be applied to bare skin. They were polite and a tad shy, but after a bit of encouragement from their friend, I got permission to cut it off with pliers. They thought we would need to saw it off. 😆
