To a dog's perspective he thinks he's never gonna see her again. He doesn't know what's going on. So it's adorable to see him all excited to see her again.

It's the same reason dogs go absolutely nuts to see you when you are just an hour late home from work. Animal psychologists are pretty certain that they can only associate your leaving the house each morning because you must be going on the hunt...yea, for dog kibble I guess lol. So when you miss your scheduled time you usually come home they begin to worry and that can turn to panic because in their minds you may have been attacked by or hurt or maybe even killed while hunting. So it's a major sense of relief when you get home they just celebrate and jump all over you so grateful you're ok. As it is often pointed out, we have our families, friends, work, gym, church, happy hours, etc. But their whole entire world is being with you. Also why you never yell at them or hit them or anything...cuz that's their entire world crashing down in an instant and all the love they had they can be led to believe has been withdrawn and man, that's one sad lonely thought.

I wish that they could have spent some more time together before she took Bob for 18 days. Less traumatic. But, it all worked out. Bob now knows that she's a friend & that mom is home waiting for him.

We need more organizations like that, that help disabled people keeps their furbabys.... I'm on my own with my dogs and don't know what would happen to them if something were to happen to me.... I'll need back surgery again but can't because I'll have no one to help me or them..... And wouldn't want to lose them to the shelter system if something were to happen.... I originally, when I adopted them, was in different circumstances but thx to my estranged husband who dumped me on the streets with nothing, I have no backup for them now.... More organizations like this would help so many people!!

You could check with your local vet or shelter for volunteers. My sister worked for our vet and volunteered to babysit fur babies she met through the office. Or maybe a neighbor? I hope you find someone, it’s clear you love your dogs and want to take care of them.

I hope senior citizens get volunteers to help them at home and their pets worldwide. In our hometown, we have strong family ties and no senior family members live alone... We're always together. If they pass, we're here to keep family pets with us. Never give up on family or pets ever!!

Here in NYC (which is also the place in the video), there are a LOT of seniors/elderly living on their own while their adult children live all over the country or world and hardly visit. I was a caregiver the past few years and you even see the children living in the same city, but different neighborhood, hardly stop by to see them! They are just a bus or train ride away. Senior home care is a thriving business here because of this. They have to rely on us or a visiting social worker or the local Church or Synagogue. I wish people here placed a higher regard for family and senior citizens like traditional cultures do 😔

So sad that those kind or people even exist but it's been going on for way longer than any of us have been able to see in our time here unfortunately.. && way more than people may even realize😭 Ever since I was really young (now 27) I've always had occasional/recurring thoughts on all of the animals that must be suffering all around the world right this very second.. whether at the hands of a human or just stuck somewhere injured, etc. Ugh. Yeah, I'm happy about it too, unfortunately, she's really not able to walk him or give him a bath, I'm disabled myself. It's a lot for us to do those things we want to do it. We're just not able to, so it's really good that she's helping out so much. And if anything happens to her owner more than likely Bob will be with her as he should be..

My parents dumpster dive and I hate it but this one time I was thankful for it, they found 7 little puppies all alone in the dumpster and called the police and they save their lives, they named one after our last name, Sloan. We are so thankful and they would do it again if they could. They were on channel 11 and our town newspaper. I will never forget the day my parents were heroes
