My friend had the bright idea to catch crabs in waste deep water with chicken meat. But something big kept taking the meat right beside us and cutting the thick trotlines. A few minutes later I was rammed so hard that I cut a flip and landed on my head. Had a piece of meat and skin missing from under my kneecap. I got to the shore as fast as possible. I`ll never get in the Gulf of Mexico again.

Bro i live on the northwest coast. And me and my buddy were just doing that for dungeoness crabs. Literally. Exactly that. Had chicken tied to me boot in the surf. We dont hav sharks tho. Not really. But i thought about that. But i had a seal come within like 20-30 feet of me cuz i think he smelled it.

Awesome Cole!!! I don't know if I would want to catch a shark that big LOL. I will stick with catching big hybrids here on Greer's Ferry Lake.

According to Okuma's Web Site; "The Makaira Lever Drag Reel Model MK-80WII Se has a 80 pound test BRAID LINE CAPACITY OF 1,000 YARDS" Interesting... because in this video's opening remarks you state that you are "sending your baits out 1,000 YARDS" via a really big drone????? That would leave your reel with ZERO LINE REMAINING... to fight your "monster shark." I lived in Port Salerno, Stewart, FL (on the Treasure Coast side), and have actually fished for, and witnessed folks, catching Black Tip (Spinner) Sharks from the beach. Additionally, I have watched many many videos of the same..... some catching up to TEN FOOT LONG, 1,000 pound range Hammerhead Sharks. The reels used were MUCH LARGER than your MK-80, and had ENORMOUS LINE CAPACITIES. Sooo... just more of the same old same old Yawn
