What you said about nostalgia is really spot on. It is a hard game to talk about without spoiling anything -- I applaud you for managing to put together such a well-spoken review despite that 😆 I feel like there's a lot to unpack in this story. I personally have... mixed(?) feelings about how things went down in the end, but I love the overall message. It really is a powerful game.

Yeah, the way the "Good" ending plays out left me wanting a bit more to the resolution, personally, but I'm sure the intention was to keep it vague. A big part of me just wants to talk and rave about all the best parts of the story, but that would ruin it for so many people...😅 Thanks Mandy!!

Man, I’ve been seeing a lot of people talk about this game and I legit had no clue what it was about, but it reminds me a lot of Celeste in a sense. Not so much game play, but tackling big themes that sometimes get over looked in story driven games. This game seems like something that would hook me for sure. Great review, bud!

Yup this game had me in tears when I played it, and I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn’t feel triggered by stories involving depression/self-harm.

Thoroughly enjoyed this review!!! I really liked this game but not as much as I thought I would - I guess I'm always just looking for the next Earthbound and this just wasn't it for me. Some of the dark stuff didn't resonate with me but haha oh well, I still think it's a solid game and worth checking out. Made my top 10 for games played last year! Hopefully we see more from the developer because this style of game is just so special. Also nice to see kid characters instead of teens saving the world. Nice change.
