Got back into magic like 3 weeks ago, grinded dailies to get coins and I’ve been able to do like 4/5 drafts and I’ve won 2 of them. Thanks for reteaching me how to draft and understand bloomburrow and duskmourn

Yo, friend, I came back to magic last month as well and have been doing well thanks to Paul's teachings. Btw, I just wanted to suggest that you make a second account for draft training. Alt accounts are completely allowed by TOS and you can play from time to time, get a victory per day if you can, as do some free drafts once in a while. Good for experimenting without worrying too much about rewards.

You guys did a great job as always commentating at Worlds, Paul! Easily the best line for me was when you said you usually concede after an opponent hits twice with a cartographer. That hit really close to home 😂

Your commentary is top notch. I’m always a little hesitant to do premier drafts at the beginning of a set release but after watching a handful of your draft videos I feel like a have a better idea of what cards are premium and what colour pairs work best. My results have been great averaging between 4-7 wins and being able to earn my gems back and grow my collection. Keep up the good work

Ah, too bad the end got cut off. Question answered though, you did have a counterspell since early on. I was afraid you bluffed me at some point, as I was holding the flytrap most of the game waiting for delirium. I wasn't digging for anything in particular when I blocked with the monkey, just trying to get that delirium for flytrap or find a different threat that would need to be countered. Anyways, thanks for the game, and thanks for uploading it. Bookworm was definitely MVP there. Should have saved my scorching dragonfire for it!

@Seldomheardabout28 күн бұрын
Tough question but I think I prefer the dual land most of the time unless I am playing delirium/ say its name. Sometimes they enter untapped for value and most of the time in 3 colors I have a random mana cost with two of the same symbol so the duals tend to be marginally better.

In a two color deck + splash I always prefer a dual land but if it's more of a three main colors, or even more than 3, I prefer terramorphic.
@shadowcatX200028 күн бұрын
In a 2 color deck with a splash I'd rather have the terramorphic, in a full 3 color deck I'd rather have the lighthouse. The delirium theme makes me lean even more into the terramorphic though.

He didn't miss it - he calculated that given how many attacking creatures he had he was better off holding up counter spell on their turn so that they couldn't pull a win out with whatever they drew (think if they had an onslaught for example - he would have decked before being able to win).
