After seeing the breed button on the other species I got an idea, it'd be awesome if they had some sort of ability to breed with other species that are similar to your own and make a hybrid. In a situation like Spore you could unlock new parts by finding a similar species with a part you don't have and that would unlock the new part if you were to court them.
